Poets From Four States Made This Kavi Sammelan a Memorable One On Independence Day.
A Kavi Sammelan (Poets’ Meet) was held for the media and PR community on Independence Day.
Well-known poets from Gujarat, Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh, and Uttar Pradesh captivated the audience with their poems.
A program of music and Hindi comedy poetry was organised on Friday, Independence Day, at 2:30 PM at the HK Hall on Ashram Road. The event was attended by Tejenra Singh, Director of Tejendra Group; Mahesh Singh Kushwaha, MD of Isha Real Estate Developers; Jagdishchandra Gupta, AGM of Punjab National Bank; Shailesh Joshi, DGM; Dhiren Somkuvar, MD of Pankit Industries; Dr. Harsh Maurya, Director of Z-Care Wellness Company; and journalists from various media and PR companies with their families.
Rajkumar Bhakkad, the event organiser, said the program began with singers from the Fafgulla team. Artists, including Shubhojit Sen, Vicky Ambwani, Deep Chauhan, and Komal Baro,t performed patriotic songs.
Afterwards, poets like Krishna Kumar Saral (comedy, Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh), Monika Hathila (Bhuj, Gujarat), Jagdish Gurjar (parody, Shajapur, Madhya Pradesh), Girish Thakur Dabang (comedy, Ahmedabad), Rajesh Lotpot (comedy, Jhalawad, Rajasthan), Kusum Soni Agni (Veer Ras, Ahmedabad), and Man Kumar (comedy, Ahmedabad) mesmerized the audience with their recitations.
This was the first time in Ahmedabad that a music and Hindi comedy poetry event was organised for families in the print, electronic, web news, web portal, and public relations fields. Volunteers from Dream Foundation, Joy Educational & Charitable Trust, and Peer Parai Foundation, along with Deepak Kapadia, Bhavsar Maulik, and Vicky Shah, played a commendable role in making the event a success.
