Through the Suraksha Bal Prashikshan Program, Rashtriya Raksha University and the Adani Foundation Form a Partnership for Nation Building
The Adani Foundation, Rashtriya Raksha University (RRU), and Gandhinagar, Gujarat, have established a strategic agreement to provide skill-based training programs for impoverished youth throughout India. An important step towards offering thorough and immersive training experiences has been taken with this partnership, which was cemented by a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) signed on July 21, 2025. One important element of this program, which is especially intended for Adani Foundation trainees, will be the Suraksha Bal Prashikshan Program, which is run by RRU. This collaboration is a result of the visionary leadership of Dr. Priti Adani, the chairperson of the Adani Foundation, and Prof. (Dr.) Bimal N. Patel, the vice-chancellor of RRU.
Key leaders from both universities attended the signing ceremony of the Memorandum of Understanding. Prof.. (Dr.) Kalpesh H. Wandra, Pro-Vice Chancellor of Rashtriya Raksha University; Prof. (Dr.) Priyanka Sharma, Dean-EDLD; Maj Gen R K Raina, Director, SISDSS; Mr. Nimesh Dave, Director, SPICSM; and Dr. Garima Kumavat, Centre Head (I/c), Suraksha Bal Prashikshan, SISDSS, were among the guests. The CEO, Dr. Abhishek Lakhtakia; Mr. Nitin Shiralkar, COO-Cement; Mr. Manas Das, Vertical Lead, SLD; Ms. Vaidehi Chokshi, Head, Brands; and Mr. Vasant Gadhavi, Executive Director (virtual presence) represented the Adani Foundation.
Because the Suraksha Bal Prashikshan Program is a fully immersive training approach, participants are guaranteed to live on campus for the duration of the course. The goal of this strategy is to give the trainees a thorough and targeted learning environment.
For trainees, this program will offer a regimented daily schedule that starts early in the morning and lasts until the evening. This regimen will include academic sessions, personality development exercises, and physical training. The program’s residential format will foster teamwork, peer interaction, and a supportive environment for holistic growth, all of which will contribute to better results and the accomplishment of training goals. By reducing distractions, this methodical approach aims to improve the learning process overall by fostering discipline, consistency, and focused learning.
During her opening remarks, Prof. (Dr.) Priyanka Sharma welcomed all of the Adani Foundation’s dignitaries and trainees who had come from all over the country, including Karnataka, Madhya Pradesh, Maharashtra, and Gujarat. She also highlighted the nation-building efforts of RRU and Adani Foundation by empowering the youth of the country, especially those from disadvantaged communities, by supporting their livelihood and skill development.
The partnership’s importance was underlined by Prof. (Dr.) Kalpesh H. Wandra, Pro-VC, RRU, said that it will provide young trainees with an invaluable platform for their overall growth while they are on campus. He commended the Adani Foundation for choosing the training beneficiaries and urged them to take advantage of the chance to better their financial situation, support their families, and give back to the community.
He further promised that the 75-day training program would result in a life-changing experience, transforming their personalities and enabling them to represent the Adani Foundation and Rashtriya Raksha University as change agents.
