Adani Vidya Mandir Ahmedabad Turns Dreams Into Reality
Newzdaddy Educational Updates
Dreams truly take flight at Adani Vidya Mandir, Ahmedabad (AVMA), where education goes far beyond books and exams. At this school, learning is shaped by values, confidence and care. Over the past year, students have shown how the right environment can help young minds grow into thoughtful, skilled and fearless individuals, ready to face the world.
AVMA was founded with a clear purpose: to offer quality education to children from diverse and often under-resourced backgrounds. Schools like AVMA play an important role in India, where access to good education can change the future of an entire family. By focusing on values, discipline and opportunity, AVMA follows a model that is increasingly seen as essential for social progress.
This spirit was clearly visible when AVMA hosted the STEM–United Nations Conference 3.0 in 2025. Events like student-led UN conferences help children understand global issues at an early age. Across India, such platforms are known to improve critical thinking, teamwork and public speaking skills. At AVMA, 106 students from Gujarat and Rajasthan came together to discuss real-world problems such as climate change, disaster management and sustainability. For many of these students, it was their first experience of debating global issues, yet they showed confidence and maturity well beyond their age.
The conference also reflected a growing focus on STEM education in Indian schools. Science, technology and mathematics are seen as key skills for future careers, and combining them with global awareness helps students become responsible innovators. AVMA’s effort to blend academics with global thinking sets an example for schools aiming to prepare students for a fast-changing world.
Confidence gained in classrooms often finds expression in unexpected places. This was seen in the journey of Eklavya Bhil, a Class VII student who lent his voice to the Gujarati film JEEV. Child artists in regional cinema often come from privileged backgrounds, making Eklavya’s achievement even more meaningful. His playback song showed how talent can shine when children are encouraged and supported. Music education is known to improve focus and emotional strength, and AVMA’s encouragement of such interests reflects a balanced approach to learning.
Academic excellence also found global recognition through Dhruv V Amingade, a Grade VIII student who secured third position at the UCMAS International Competition in Georgia. Mental arithmetic competitions like the UCMAS test speed, accuracy and memory. Competing against nearly 4,000 students from ten countries is no small feat. Such achievements highlight the importance of consistent practice and strong mentoring, both of which are central to AVMA’s learning culture.
Equally inspiring was Vedika Soni of Class IX, who won second place nationally in the “Dialogue Dhamaka” competition. Organised by a leading environmental organisation, this contest encourages young people to speak about climate and sustainability. In recent years, student voices have become vital in environmental discussions. Vedika’s success shows how AVMA helps students speak with clarity and courage on issues that affect their future.
Creativity also plays a strong role in the school. AVMA students secured all top positions at the Bhanwar Rathore Design School inter-school art and design competition. Art education helps children express thoughts that words cannot always capture. Across India, art-based learning is gaining importance for building imagination and emotional health. The students’ success shows that AVMA values creative growth as much as academic achievement.
Different talents were celebrated again when Navfal Mansuri, a Class XI student, reached the top three at Young Chef India 2025. Culinary competitions teach planning, discipline and time management. For a school student to reach this level shows how AVMA supports career paths beyond traditional choices, respecting each child’s passion.
Sports achievements at Khel Mahakumbh 2025 further reflected this balanced approach. Athletics events like high jump and triple jump demand focus, strength and self-belief. Students like Marmi Jagani, Tanvi Antala, Unnati Bhadoriya and Siya Desai showed determination and teamwork. Sports are known to build confidence and resilience, qualities that help children both on and off the field.
Behind all these achievements stands the steady support of the Adani Foundation. As the social arm of the Adani Group, the Foundation focuses on education, health and community development. AVMA is one of its key initiatives, showing how corporate-supported schools can contribute meaningfully to society when guided by the right values.
At AVMA, students are not defined by where they come from, but by where they can go. Their achievements, whether in academics, arts or sports, tell a larger story about the power of opportunity. Through care, encouragement and belief, AVMA continues to prove that education, when done right, can truly transform lives.
