AGNIVEERVAYU RECRUITMENT RALLY OF INDIAN AIR FORCE AT VADODARA
A Recruitment Rally is being organised by the Indian Air Force at Darjipura Camp of Air Force Station Vadodara (Gujarat) for Agniveervayu Intake 01/2026 from 27 August 2025 to 28 August 2025 (for male candidates) and 30 August 2025 to 31 August 2025 (for female candidates).
The Indian Air Force often holds these Agniveervayu recruitment rallies in many cities to give more people a chance to join. For Intake 01/2026, rallies are also scheduled in places like Jalandhar, Chennai, Mumbai, and Baripada from late August to mid-September 2025
Reporting date for male candidates is 27 Aug 2025 and for female candidates 30 August 2025. The rally provides an opportunity for eligible and enthusiastic candidates to join the Indian Air Force as Agniveervayu and serve the nation with pride and dedication.
This is a four-year short-term programme under the Agnipath Scheme, launched by the Government of India in 2022. Agniveers serve for four years and get training, a skill certificate, and support for future jobs at the end of their tenure
The recruitment process will include physical fitness tests, written examination, adaptability tests and document verification, followed by medical examination at a later stage.
Typical selection steps include: a Physical Fitness Test (like 1.6 km run, push-ups, sit-ups, etc.), a Written Test (for non-science stream includes English and Reasoning), Adaptability Tests, Document Verification, and then Medical Examination.
Candidates from Gujarat, Dadra & Nagar Haveli and Daman & Diu region are eligible to participate, provided they meet the prescribed age, educational qualifications and other eligibility criteria notified by the Central Airmen Selection Board in its official notification.
For Intake 01/2026, eligible candidates are those born between 1 January 2005 and 1 July 2008. They must be unmarried, and female candidates must agree not to become pregnant during the four-year term. Educational requirements: pass 10+2 or equivalent with 50% overall and 50% in English, or a relevant 37.5% vocational/technical diploma
