Ahmedabad Devotees Ready for Divine Bhaktamar Spiritual Experience

Jain Anushthan Sanstha has announced a grand spiritual programme titled “Bhaktamar Sankalp Siddhi Anushthan” in Ahmedabad. The event will be held from 7 June to 29 July under the guidance of respected Jain monks, nuns, and Shasan Prabhavak Munishri Harshbodhivijayji Maharaj Saheb. The programme will take place at Tara Shanti Sorath Cultural Hall in Paldi, Ahmedabad, where devotees will gather every day for Bhaktamar chanting, meditation, and spiritual prayer sessions.

The organisers have described the Anushthan as a spiritual process aimed at bringing peace, strength, and positive change in life. Shri Nikunj Guruji, who is leading the programme, said the event is being organised on the occasion of the 500th anniversary celebrations linked with the sacred Shatrunjaya Giriraj. Shatrunjaya in Palitana is one of the holiest pilgrimage places in Jainism and is home to more than 1,300 marble temples dedicated mainly to Lord Adinath, the first Tirthankar.

The Bhaktamar Stotra holds a special place in Jain tradition. It was written by Acharya Mantunga in Sanskrit many centuries ago and is dedicated to Lord Adinath. Jain scholars and followers from both the Shwetambar and Digambar sects recite it with deep faith. Historical records and Jain literature show that the prayer has remained popular for hundreds of years and is still recited daily in many Jain homes and temples across India and abroad.

Religious experts believe that the Bhaktamar Stotra is more than just a prayer. Many followers see it as a source of emotional peace, confidence, and spiritual healing. Several Jain websites and devotional publications mention that different verses of the Stotra are linked with prayers for knowledge, health, relief from fear, success, and peace of mind.

The Ahmedabad programme will include daily morning and evening meditation sessions. Devotees will take part in group chanting and mantra meditation. Spiritual gatherings of this kind have become more popular in recent years, especially among people looking for peace from stress and daily pressure. Across social media and Jain community platforms, many followers share their experiences of meditation helping them feel calmer and more focused in life.

Organisers have also announced special healing sessions during the programme. Free guidance will be offered for people facing health issues, money problems, relationship stress, and career worries. Seven chakra aura healing sessions will be held every afternoon. Such activities have become common in many spiritual gatherings across India, where meditation and breathing practices are often connected with emotional well-being and mental peace.

The event will also include a special numerology guidance camp for students. According to the organisers, the aim is to help young people gain confidence and direction for their future. Many parents today are encouraging children to attend spiritual and motivational programmes alongside regular studies because they believe it helps improve discipline and concentration.

One of the major attractions of the event will be the arrival of more than 1,000 Jain monks and nuns during the 44-day special meditation period. Their guidance is expected to attract devotees from different parts of Gujarat and other states. Jain monks and nuns are highly respected in society for their disciplined lifestyle, non-violence, and spiritual teachings.

A “Bhaktamar Dhyan Mandir” will also be created in Ahmedabad during the programme. According to the organisers, more than 10.8 million Beej Mantra meditations will take place there for the welfare of all living beings. Many Jain followers believe that collective prayer and meditation create positive energy and encourage unity among people.

The opening ceremony on 7 June will include a special devotional programme and the inauguration of the Bhaktamar Sadhana Mandir. A five-day Guru Purnima celebration will also be organised during the event. Guru Purnima is widely celebrated in India as a day to honour teachers and spiritual guides.

The organisers have further stated that the entire programme will be broadcast live through Paras Channel and Aadinath Channel in more than 180 countries. Religious live streaming has grown rapidly in recent years, allowing people living abroad to stay connected with spiritual events taking place in India.

The importance of Shatrunjaya Giriraj remains deeply emotional for the Jain community. News reports and social media discussions often show how strongly devotees feel about preserving the purity and traditions of the sacred site.

Shri Nikunj Guruji has appealed to people from all communities to take part in the programme and receive spiritual benefit. He said the event is aimed at social upliftment, inner peace, and the welfare of all living beings. For many followers, such gatherings are not only religious occasions but also moments to reconnect with faith, community, and personal peace.
