Akshay Kavra has been appointed as the new general manager of ITC Narmada, a Luxury Collection hotel located in the centre of Ahmedabad, by ITC Hotels. With more than 18 years of experience and a solid background in hospitality, Akshay is a seasoned hotelier who brings with him extensive operational knowledge, strategic leadership, and a dedication to providing guests with an exceptional stay.
Akshay and ITC Hotels had a long history together. He began his career with ITC Hotels, one of India’s most prestigious luxury hospitality chains, after graduating from the esteemed Welcomgroup Graduate School of Hotel Administration (WGSHA), Manipal, and enrolling in the Management Trainee Program at the esteemed Hotel Management Institute (HMI), formerly known as WMI.
ITC Grand Chola (Chennai), ITC Sonar (Kolkata), ITC Mughal (Agra), Sheraton New Delhi, and the storied ITC Maurya (New Delhi) are just a few of the renowned ITC Hotels where Akshay has held important leadership positions over the years. He has continuously shown that he can raise service standards, develop top-performing teams, and confidently and precisely increase visitor satisfaction at every property.
