Amitabh Bachchan, the biggest celebrity in Bollywood, received birthday wishes from Prime Minister Narendra Modi, who referred to him as “one of India’s most amazing film personalities.” Mr. Bachchan, one of the biggest stars in Hindi cinema, is 80 today.

In 1969, Big B made his acting debut in the movie “Saat Hindustani.” Later, in Hrishikesh Mukherjee’s “Anand” (1971), he played Dr. Bhaskar Banerjee, for which he received the Filmfare Award for Best Supporting Actor. Bachchan became a celebrity to watch in the industry thanks to Prakash Mehra’s action movie “Zanjeer” (1973), and ever since, he has captivated audiences with a variety of roles.
He created the movie “Goodbye,” which is presently playing in theatres before he turned 80. He will appear in the upcoming months’ “Project K” and the remake of “The Intern” starring Deepika Padukone. Additionally, he has “Uunchai” in his cat.
In the meantime, Amitabh Bachchan’s “Goodbye” producers announced on Monday that in honour of the superstar’s birthday, they had set the price of the movie’s freshly released tickets at Rs 80. “Goodbye,” which was created by Balaji Motion Pictures and Good Co., opened in theatres on October 7. Rashmika Mandanna and Neena Gupta are also included. The banner tweeted, “Celebrate his 80th birthday, his legacy, and his fandom by watching his latest film #Goodbye with your family in cinemas near you for just Rs 80 on October 11, 2022.” Amitabh shared the news on Instagram as well.
