An Innovative Approach to Design Education
In a groundbreaking move, Anant National University in Ahmedabad has taken a bold step towards inclusivity and equal opportunities in design education. The university has announced the commencement of the second round of the Anant Design Entrance and Proficiency Test (ADEPT), an online entrance exam for its Bachelor of Design (B.Des) Programme. What makes this round of ADEPT truly unique is that it will be conducted in five languages: English, Hindi, Gujarati, Bengali, and Tamil, making Anant the first university in India to offer design entrance exams in regional languages.

Online Exam Details
The design entrance test is scheduled to be conducted online on April 7, 2024. Registration for the exam is now open and will remain so until March 31, 2024. This online format ensures convenience and accessibility for all applicants, regardless of their geographical location. Candidates can choose to take the exam in the language they are most comfortable with, providing them with a conducive environment to demonstrate their design aptitude and critical thinking skills.
