AR Rahman casts his Academy Award ballot for the 2023 Oscars. – Newzdaddy

AR Rahman, a vocalist, and composer of music is no stranger to the Academy Awards. The musical prodigy is associated with this year’s Oscars after being nominated in 2011 and winning two prizes in 2009 and 2011. AR Rahman announced in a recent Instagram post that he has already voted in the upcoming 95th iteration of the coveted award. Members of The Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences vote for the actors and technicians to receive the awards. AR Rahman shared a screenshot of a thank-you message from The Academy. The ballot you cast has been received. Additionally, the message begs that members maintain the privacy of their voting choices, stating that “it is crucial to the integrity and fairness of the process.”
The photo was uploaded by AR Rahman with just the emoji for popcorn as a caption and the hashtag “The Academy.” A geotag pointing to Chennai was also inserted into him. On January 24, 2023, the 95th Academy Awards will release its nominees.

Recently, AR Rahman also gave a performance in Saudi Arabia during the Red Sea Film Festival. Everyone who was there enjoyed themselves, AR Rahman stated in the caption.

For his contribution to the 2009 movie Slumdog Millionaire, AR Rahman won two Oscars: Best Original Score and Best Original Song (co-won with lyricist Gulzar). In addition, he received Golden Globe and Grammy Awards for the soundtrack to Slumdog Millionaire.
