The UAE is Set to Host a Spectacular Asia Cup 2025 With Day-Night Matches.
The Asian Cricket Council have announced that the Asia Cup 2025 is all set to start from September 5 to September 21, 2025. The UAE will be hosting these exciting Twenty20 cricket matches in a day-night format. The competition offers high-stakes matches, particularly the India-Pakistan match on September 7, and features eight teams, including the dominant nations of India, Pakistan, Sri Lanka and Bangladesh.
All eight teams are divided into two Groups A and Group B. From both groups top two teams will move to the next stage. The matches will be played in the stadiums of Dubai and Sharjah.
Tournament Dates and Venue
Asia Cup 2025 schedule kicks off on September 9 and ends with the final on September 28.
The tournament will last for 17 days, and the matches will be played in T20 format. The tournament will feature 19 matches across the group stages, Super Four, and the final.

Teams and Groups
There are a total of eight teams participating in this Asia Cup, and they are divided into two groups for the 2025 Asia Cup. While Sri Lanka, Bangladesh, Afghanistan, and Oman are in Group B, India, Pakistan, the United Arab Emirates, and Hong Kong are in Group A. Each group’s top two teams move on to the Super Four.

The favourites, India under Suryakumar Yadav and Pakistan under Muhammad Rizwan, could be surprised by underdogs like the United Arab Emirates and Nepal. Every squad participates in three group-stage games.
