Ayan Mukerji has finally addressed the rumors that he will be directing War 2, which will star Hrithik Roshan in the lead role. The spy universe that YRF developed is where the movie is set.
Ayan Mukerji, who just won Best Director at the News18 Showsha REEL Awards 2023 for his mammoth film Brahmastra Part One: Shiva, addressed rumors that he might helm War 2 for the Yash Raj Studios “Spy Universe.”
“Ayan is a pure Dharma boy. He has only been employed as a filmmaker thus far by Karan Johar’s Dharma Productions. Regarding Ayan directing a Yash Raj production, the fact that Ayan has Brahmastra 2 and 3 to direct for him, Karan offered to hire Ayan’s directing skills for War 2, claims a source with firsthand knowledge of the issue.
