Family, relatives, and admirers gathered to pay their respects at the somber Manimajra cremation yard in Chandigarh where the funeral rituals were performed.
An emotional photo from the burial has surfaced, showing Ayushmann and Aparshakti standing shoulder to shoulder and delicately holding their father’s coffin while wearing black sunglasses. Their somber faces conveyed the great loss they were feeling in spades.
P Khurrana, who hails from Chandigarh, Punjab, was well known for his keen astrological insight in North India.
He had a devoted following thanks to his knowledge of the subject and had written several books on it as well.
Aparshakti’s representative sent a statement earlier in the day on behalf of the distraught family, confirming the news of his father’s passing.
The notification said that P Khurrana had passed away at 10:30 am in Mohali due to a protracted and uncurable illness. It additionally expressed its gratitude for the support and well-wishers’ outpouring of prayers during this tough time.
As word of the death spread, sympathies from other notable figures from Bollywood flooded in. Ajay Devgn expressed his sympathy on Twitter. Kajol, who was deeply touched by the tragic news, sent Aushmann and Aparshakti Khurana her sincere condolences.
