BJP Patan Development Powers Infrastructure With Strong Leadership And Hope
BJP Gujarat media cell’s press note says that today, State BJP President Mr Jagdishbhai Vishwakarma spoke to BJP workers at a booth workers’ conference held in Patan. Before this, he went to the home of Booth No. 240, the president of Patan Assembly, Mr Shaileshbhai Maganbhai Patel, had a meal there, and gave notebooks to the children.
Mr Jagdishbhai Vishwakarma began his speech by saluting the holy land of Patan, the land of work of Siddharaj Jaysinh and Kumarpal. He said that the biggest strength of the Bharatiya Janata Party is its organisation, where even an ordinary booth worker can share the stage with the state president. He said that for years, many senior workers have played a big part in making the BJP strong, and that seeing so many loyal workers present in the hot afternoon makes him feel proud. He strongly said that BJP workers are very rare and that such dedicated workers are found only in the Bharatiya Janata Party, the largest party in the world.
Mr Vishwakarma, speaking about the historic and cultural pride of Patan, said that here there is Hemchandracharya University, Rani ki Vav, and the world-famous Patola heritage, which has received a GI tag. He said that Prime Minister Narendra Modi has made many pledges to strengthen villages and small traders. After the pledge made on 2 October to promote khadi, today, khadi sales across the country have crossed about one and a half lakh crore rupees. He said that Prime Minister Mr Narendra Modi and the country’s Home and Cooperation Minister Mr Amit Shah have thought about giving farmers the right price for their produce. Speaking about the cooperative movement, he said that Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel started the cooperative dairy movement with only ten people, and today Amul Dairy has made its own special place in the world market and has a turnover of more than one lakh crore rupees. The BJP government is constantly working to make villages strong.
The State President, Mr Jagdishbhai Vishwakarma, said that after the automobile industry was set up in the Becharaji area, the district’s development has taken a new direction. At one time, no one could even imagine that Maruti cars would be made here, but today cars are made here and are also exported. This one industry alone is giving direct or indirect jobs to more than one and a quarter lakh people. He said that the dreams that Prime Minister Narendra Modi had seen have been fulfilled through initiatives such as Vibrant Gujarat.
He further said that today Patan has become a hub in the medical field, and people from nearby states also come here for treatment, and that medical tourism has grown in Gujarat. Prime Minister Mr Modi fulfilled the dream of Sardar Saheb by completing the Sardar Sarovar Dam and raising its height. Today, Congress is full of inner disputes and crises and is fighting only to survive.
Mr Vishwakarma said that for years, Congress stopped giving permission to raise the height of the Sardar Sarovar Dam and to install the gates, and at that time, Mr Narendra Modi, as Chief Minister of Gujarat, had to sit on a fast. But after he became Prime Minister, within only 17 days, permission was given to install the dam gates and the road to development was opened. Today, the BJP government has done the historic work of taking water from Sardar Sarovar to Patan, and a 75,000-kilometre-long network has been made. There was a time when water had to be sent from the Sabarmati to Saurashtra by train, but Prime Minister Modi has changed this history.
He said that in all fields like education, jobs, farming, industry, women’s empowerment and irrigation, Prime Minister Mr Narendra Modi and Gujarat Chief Minister Mr Bhupendrabhai Patel have given the gift of development. Today, Patan has made its own place on the world map. Charanka Solar Park is keeping Gujarat ahead in the field of green energy, and the world is talking today about the path that Patan adopted years ago. There was a time when, because of water shortage, Patan district was called a dark zone, but the BJP government has brought a permanent solution to the water problem. Congress ruled for 60 years but could not do big development works. He said that today Congress lacks leadership, policy, and intention. Congress leaders now feel that they have wasted the best years of their lives by staying in Congress.
Mr Vishwakarma said that today India’s economy is among the top five economies in the world, and Prime Minister Mr Narendra Modi is being recognised as the most popular leader in the world. He added that for the development of Patan, there is a need for visionary and development-oriented leadership and that only leaders who believe in the BJP’s ideology can bring development at rocket speed. Congress is number one only in show-off, false opposition, and telling lies. In the time of Congress, politics was done to stop projects, delay them, and confuse the people, while the BJP works on the path of development and service.
On this occasion, State General Secretary and in charge of North Zone, Mr Ajaybhai Brahmbhatt, District President, Mr Rameshbhai Sindhav, District BJP in-charge Mr Satyenbhai Kulabkar, District Panchayat President, Mrs Hetalben Thakor, former Minister, Mr Balvantsinh Rajput, and other BJP leaders, prominent persons and a large number of workers were present.
