Actor Boman Irani is excited to join the OTT bandwagon because the platform has provided artists with an opportunity to test their talent in a variety of genres and personas.

In ‘Masoom,’ Boman brought a portrayal of a grey character to the OTT scene. He plays Dr. Balraj Kapoor, a distinguished doctor who is trying to keep a few family secrets hidden.

According to Boman: “Actors have been able to put their skills to the test in a variety of situations and characters because of the OTT area. I’m excited to join the OTT bandwagon, and the support for my debut has been amazing.”
The series recounts the events that occur following the death of Dr. Balraj Kapoor’s wife, and they set in motion a wild ride, at the core of which are long-buried family secrets.
He continued, ” “The writer Satyam Tripathy, director Mihir Desai, and the excellent team that we had, including the production, my co-actors Samara Tijori, Upasana Singh, Manjari Faddnis, and Sarika Singh, deserve a large part of the credit for the series’ success. We were on the same page in terms of creativity, which is how everything fell into place and a series like this came to be.”

Playing off of each other’s energy, according to the actor, is a bit that can never be placed into a script.
“When the camera starts rolling and they’re drawing from their emotional reservoir for their performance, it’s an experience actors have. Every function, in my opinion, should be distinct from the others because every human person is unique.”
“Playing a grey shade is usually more delectable to toy around with as an actor,” Boman said of playing a grey character in this series.
In terms of work, Boman is preparing for the release of ‘Uunchai’ as well as a few other exciting projects.
