67th Filmfare Awards 2022

2022 Filmfare Awards: Ranveer Singh, a talented Bollywood actor, won the Filmfare Award 2022 for best actor for his cricket drama ’83’ at the 67th Filmfare Awards in Mumbai. Kriti Sanon won the Filmfare Award for Best Actress (Female) in 2022 for her role in the film ‘Mimi.’ The starry night that celebrated the film industry’s milestones, the standards set by filmmakers, and the acting prowess displayed by industry artists has finally come to an end. The 67th Filmfare Awards 2022 were informative as well as credited for bringing some of the industry’s biggest stars together on one stage.

Filmfare Awards 2022 Date

On August 30, 2022, the 67th Filmfare Awards were held. The Awards recognized the best Indian Hindi-language films released in 2021. The Jio World Centre hosted the Filmfare Awards 2022. Colors TV will broadcast the awards on September 9, 2022.

Best Actor, Filmfare Award 2022

Ranveer Singh received the Filmfare Award 2202 for Best Actor for his performance in Kabir Khan’s ’83.’ The cricket drama was based on India’s first World Cup victory in 1983.

Best Film, Filmfare Award 2022

Shershaah won the Filmfare Award for Best Film in 2022. The film told the story of Captain Vikram Batra of the Indian Army, who made the ultimate sacrifice while attempting to wrest control of a key position from the enemy during the Kargil War.

Background on the Filmfare Awards

The Filmfare Awards are annual awards that recognize artistic and technical contributions to India’s Hindi-language film industry. The awards were first presented by The Times Group’s Filmfare magazine in 1954, the same year as the National Awards.
