Chiripal Group Christmas Carnival Lights Up Ahmedabad
Newz Daddy Education Updates
Ahmedabad-based diversified conglomerate Chiripal Group on Wednesday hosted a joyful Christmas Carnival for employees and their families at the Shanti Asiatic School ground in Shela. The evening brought together around 750 attendees, including over 250 children and about 500 employees and their family members, creating a warm atmosphere of celebration, bonding and festive cheer.
Events of this nature have become increasingly important in modern workplaces, especially in large organisations where employees come from varied backgrounds and work across different verticals. In India, family-inclusive celebrations are often seen as a way to strengthen emotional ties between employees and the organisation. By choosing an open school ground in Shela, the Group ensured easy access, safety for children and a relaxed outdoor setting, which added to the overall comfort and enjoyment of the gathering.
Planned as a family-centric event, the carnival featured a wide range of attractions, including gaming stalls, a toddler zone, craft activities, a selfie booth, tattoo artists, a magician, a jumping castle and themed food stalls, offering something for every age group to enjoy as they welcomed the holiday season. Children were especially delighted by the grand Christmas tree and lively characters such as Santa Claus, while families enjoyed relaxed photo moments and interactive activities through the evening.

Such carefully curated activities reflect a broader trend seen in corporate India, where employee engagement now goes beyond formal meetings and office celebrations. Child-friendly zones and creative corners help parents participate without worry, while interactive stalls encourage informal conversations among colleagues. This kind of environment often helps break down hierarchies, allowing employees from different departments to connect in a more personal and natural way.
Commenting on the initiative, Ronak Chiripal, Promoter, Chiripal Group, said, “At Chiripal Group, we believe a strong organisation is built not only at the workplace but also through the families that stand behind our people every day. Celebrations like this are our way of saying thank you and creating shared moments of joy that strengthen our sense of belonging across all Chiripal Group companies.”

Leadership voices play a key role in shaping organisational culture. When senior management openly acknowledges the role of families, it sends a clear message that employees are valued as individuals, not just as professionals. This approach has been linked to higher morale, better retention and stronger loyalty, especially in family-oriented societies like India, where work-life balance is becoming a priority for younger professionals.
The initiative reflects Chiripal Group’s continued focus on fostering an inclusive, people-first workplace culture and extending employee engagement beyond office and shopfloor boundaries. By consciously involving families who form an integral part of employees’ lives, the Christmas Carnival created a shared space for connection, celebration and gratitude at the close of the year.
Across sectors, companies that invest in people-first practices often see long-term benefits. Family events help employees feel seen and supported, which can reduce stress and improve overall job satisfaction. For manufacturing and diversified groups like Chiripal, where teams may work long hours or in demanding environments, such gestures can make a meaningful difference to everyday work life.
By bringing together colleagues and their families in a warm, festive setting, Chiripal Group reiterated its commitment to building a strong sense of community, togetherness and healthy work-life balance across its offices in Ahmedabad. The Group aims to make such celebrations a regular feature of its employee engagement calendar, further strengthening its bond with its people and the city it calls home.
Ahmedabad has long been known for its strong community spirit and close-knit social values. Corporate events that reflect these values often resonate deeply with employees and their families. As businesses continue to grow and expand, maintaining this human connection becomes both a challenge and a responsibility. Through initiatives like the Christmas Carnival, Chiripal Group has shown how thoughtful planning and genuine intent can turn a simple celebration into a memorable shared experience, reinforcing trust, goodwill and a sense of belonging as the year comes to a close.
