Cinematic Bonds Rekindled at WAVES Summit 2025: Atul Patel Meets Nagarjuna, Reconnects with Remo D’Souza”
During the summit, Vice President of IMPPA, Mr. Atul Patel, had the honour of meeting legendary actor Nagarjuna Akkineni in person for the very first time.
Having proudly distributed several of Nagarjuna Akkineni Sir’s blockbuster films over the years, the meeting marked a personal and emotional milestone for Mr. Patel. “The meeting was filled with immense joy and mutual respect,” he shared. “It was truly a heartwarming experience to finally meet the man behind so many cinematic marvels that I have worked with.”
Adding another emotional layer to the summit was Patel’s reunion with renowned choreographer and director Remo D’Souza. Both originally from Jamnagar, the two reconnected in their native Gujarati, reminiscing about their early struggles in Mumbai and the creative journey that shaped their careers. “Speaking in Gujarati brought back memories,” said Patel. “It reminded us of our roots, our shared struggles, and the dreams we nurtured together in this ever-evolving film industry.”
