We work with coaches Madan Sir and Rajdeep Sir, and my selection to the U-16 team is all because of the help and guidance they provided,” he said, reflecting on his journey since joining the academy in 2021.
Karishma Parmar Balancing Cricket, Work, and Studies
On the girls’ team, 21-year-old medium pacer Karishma Parmar has been making significant progress. Karishma’s dedication and hard work have earned her a call-up to the Ahmedabad U-23 camp. Among the problems for the state team, she is currently training in Surat with the Gujarat Cricket Association. Previously a part of the state’s U-19 team, Karishma has been adept at balancing her job, studies, and cricket training with the support of the academy.

Coming from a sports background—my mother is a former kabaddi player—I have always received encouragement in sports. The guidance and support from my coaches have helped me improve, and I am confident I will make everyone who believed in me proud,” said Karishma, expressing her gratitude.
