Special Dance Workshop Inspiring Young Talent in Gujarat, Organised by Sshivaay Production with Choreographer Keyur Vaghela

Sshivaay Production organised a special dance workshop in Ahmedabad with renowned young choreographer Keyur Vaghela. The workshop was held at The Link, 504, Vijay Cross Road, Navrangpura, and offered dance enthusiasts an opportunity to learn a wide range of styles, including hip-hop, contemporary, fusion, Bollywood, garba, freestyle and break dance. Such workshops are becoming important across India as dance is now seen not only as a hobby but also as a serious career option. Experts in youth development often highlight that structured dance training helps children and young adults improve physical fitness, focus, teamwork and self-confidence. For many young people in Gujarat, workshops like this provide exposure that is otherwise limited to big metro cities.

For more information regarding the workshop, interested participants may contact +91 75678 41235. More information about the dance workshop was provided by Chiraag Sharmma, Founder of Sshivaay Production, and Shweta Shettty, Co-Founder of Sshivaay Production. Choreographer Keyur Vaghela provided information about various dance styles and his journey. Industry professionals often point out that direct interaction with working artists helps students understand real-world expectations, discipline and the effort required to succeed in the entertainment field. Listening to a dancer’s personal journey can motivate young learners to stay committed even when progress feels slow.

Sharing details about the initiative, Chiraag Sharmma, Founder of Sshivaay Production, said, “Following Ahmedabad, this workshop will also be organised across major cities of Gujarat, including Morbi, Rajkot, Bhavnagar, Botad and Jamnagar. Dance is not just a form of artistic expression; it is a powerful medium that builds confidence, discipline and creativity among the youth. A workshop with a talented choreographer like Keyur Vaghela is a unique opportunity for dance lovers across Gujarat. We aim to make professional training accessible to every young aspirant.” Cultural researchers often note that taking training beyond major cities helps discover raw talent and supports local cultural growth. Gujarat has a strong tradition of folk and modern dance, and such outreach programmes help blend tradition with global styles.

It is noteworthy that Sshivaay Production operates as a professional acting, dancing and modelling institute for more than 15 years. The organisation also provides a platform for aspiring artists to enter the entertainment industry by offering access to national and international trainers. In addition, Sshivaay Production is actively involved in producing films, short films, podcasts and workshops, along with providing opportunities in OTT platform projects, web series and casting-related services. With the rise of digital platforms, industry observers say that training institutes now play a key role in preparing artists for auditions, camera presence and professional conduct, which are essential for long-term success.

Keyur Vaghela’s journey in dance is truly inspiring. A native of Rajkot and a self-trained artist, Keyur has won over 85 awards and continues to make Gujarat proud on national and international stages. Many educators highlight his story as an example of how self-learning, when combined with discipline, can lead to excellence. Learning from online videos is common today, but experts stress that turning that learning into a professional skill requires years of practice and guidance, which Keyur successfully achieved.

His training, which began by learning from YouTube videos, eventually led him to prominent shows such as Dance+3, Dance Deewane, Naach Meri Saath, and the international event “Your Moment” held in Manila. Participation in such platforms is often seen as a turning point for dancers, as it provides national and global exposure. His victory at the World Dance Cup 2018 (Hip-Hop Division) and his selection as an Indian qualifier for World of Dance 2021 stand as significant milestones in his career. These achievements place him among a small group of Indian dancers recognised at a global level.

In recent years, his international journey has gained further momentum. In 2024, after winning the Dance Deewane UK auditions, he earned the honour of performing on the Indian stage in front of Madhuri Dixit and Suniel Shetty. Performing before senior artists is often considered a mark of respect and recognition in the industry. During his UK tour, he was selected as one of only four dancers to perform alongside popular artist Karan Aujla. After becoming a World of Dance finalist in Switzerland in 2024, Keyur went on to secure fourth place among the world’s top dancers at the World of Dance event held in London in 2025, marking a major achievement in his career and further strengthening India’s presence in global dance competitions.

His presence in the film industry has also been steadily growing. Keyur has worked as a dancer in films such as Abir Gulaal, Sardaarji 3 and Mastiii 4. Film industry professionals often say that dancers who understand both stage and camera work adapt better to film sets. Alongside his artistic pursuits, he has completed a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering and is currently pursuing an MBA in the UK, showing a balanced approach towards education and art. This combination sends a strong message to young people about the value of learning and planning for the future.

Keyur’s creativity, positive outlook, unique interpretation of music and spiritual connection make him not only an outstanding performer but also an inspiring mentor. Under his guidance, many students have achieved success at national and international levels. Through his passion, hard work and unwavering commitment to his goals, Keyur Vaghela continues to serve as a powerful source of inspiration for millions of young people.
