Dhaakad Beera Shows That Even Kids Can Be Heroes
Newz Daddy Entertainment Updates
COLOURS’ “Dhaakad Beera” demonstrates that not all fighters don capes; some engage in selfless, loving combat. Superheroes are akin to tareef karte hain jo screen par duniya jeet lete hain. jo har ghar mein pyaar aur himmat se apni jung lad rahe hain, kya, par un asli warriors ka? presenting a moving tale of a remarkable brother (Beera) who assumes the role of Dhaakad Beera and becomes its guardian and nurturer. “Dhaakad Beera,” COLORS’s latest social drama, demonstrates the potency and transformative potential of a brother-sister bond when it defies conventional norms. With bravery as his superpower, 8-year-old Samrat fights for his baby sister Kishmish’s right to exist in a world where harsh customs he doesn’t comprehend are in place. He is unaware that his grandmother, Bhanwari Devi, the vicious head honcho of the village, poses a threat to his sister’s life. Dhaakad Beera, which stars Divyam Shukla as Samrat and Rakshanda Khan as Bhanwari Devi, will debut on July 24 and thereafter air daily at 7:00 PM exclusively on COLOURS.
This social drama, which is set in a fictional community, centres on eight-year-old Samrat, whose unadulterated love for his younger sister Kishmish defies years of quiet. He swears to protect his dying mother at all costs when she puts the newborn in his arms. The finest reality Samrat has ever encountered is Kishmish, who is shunned by her family and the village. He becomes her mother, father, brother, and everything else that stands between her and a society that wants her dead. However, the worst threat is closer than he realises: the village’s tyrannical ruler, his grandmother, Bhanwari Devi. She views Kishmish as a challenge to her authority and her grandson’s claim to the throne because she is fixated on control and traditional practices. How far would this naive Dhaakad Beera go when his own family is the enemy while the town sharpens its knives?
“I play Bhanwari Devi, the matriarch of a village, feared more than loved, respected more out of tradition than truth,” Rakshanda Khan remarked about her part as the character. Her grandson is her pride and sole tender spot, yet beneath her tough demeanour is a lady devoted to him. She pays close attention to everything he says, and she feels that her legacy is safe because of him. Her grandson Samrat, whom she has raised as her heir and whom she views as an extension of herself, is the centre of her universe. When Samrat’s baby sister arrives, Bhanwari’s authority and role in her grandson’s life are called into doubt. This show demonstrates how children have a special ability to challenge things that adults take for granted. The grandmother-grandson relationship and the affection between a brother and sister are two important themes in the story that COLOURS is narrating.
