The majority of us will acknowledge that we had a love-hate connection with our siblings when we were young. We argued like cats and dogs, whether it was over a TV remote control, calling one another foul names, or just being bored.
I don’t even know how many times as kids we got into pretty violent physical altercations with my elder brother, who is roughly my age. But the best thing about having siblings is that, even when you disagree, you always know they’ll be your biggest advocates and have your back.
Most Indian siblings develop a tighter bond as they get older and more mature, much as the Shetty sisters did. We are now starting to appreciate their significance in our lives. We go from being each other’s worst enemy to being an unbreakable team as a result.
