The Khufiya teaser by Vishal Bhardwaj is now out. The movie’s creators posted the trailer on YouTube on Monday, and the cast, which includes Ali Fazal, Tabu, Ashish Vidyarthi, and Wamiqa Gabbi, afterwards shared it. With a piece of tense background music, the teaser introduces us to the movie’s characters while also lending the narrative a sense of mystery. While Ali Fazal may be seen laughing evilly in the teaser, Tabu is depicted as having a disturbed expression. Ashish Vidyarthi and Wamiqa Gabbi are also prominently featured in the first look teaser. The movie, written, produced, and directed by Vishal Bhardwaj, is based on the spy book Escape To Nowhere by Amar Bhushan. On Netflix, Khufiya will make its debut. The movie’s producers have not yet released the release date or the trailer.
The plot of Amar Bhushan’s book centres on a RAW agent tasked with finding the informant selling India’s defence secrets. Krishna Mehra, a RAW agent, will be portrayed by Tabu.
In addition to the movie’s teaser, Vishal also posted on Instagram character stills for Ali Fazal, Tabu, and Wamiqa Gabbi. In the images that have been posted, Tabu is depicted as the RAW agent and Ali Fazal and Wamiqa Gabbi are shown to be happy couples.
Ali Fazal posted the movie’s first image to Instagram and stated, “We’ve all been waiting for this first glimpse. The trailer is a good one. Welcome to the kufiya world. a glance. #Khufiya by Vishal Bhardwaj. Must I say more?”
On their own Instagram accounts, Tabu, Ashish Vidyarthi, and Wamiqa Gabbi also posted the movie’s teaser.
Previously, Tabu and director Vishal Bhardwaj worked together on the critically acclaimed films Maqbool (2004) and Haider (2014), which also starred Irrfan Khan and Shahid Kapoor.
