FUJIFILM Spectrum India Tour 2026 Reaches Ahmedabad

The Ahmedabad Event Supports India’s Growing Photography and Creator Community.

Ahmedabad is hosting a special event this week for people who enjoy photography and visual content creation. Camera and imaging company FUJIFILM India has launched the Ahmedabad edition of its Spectrum India Tour 2026 at the Navajivan Trust Campus. The three-day event runs from 31 July to 2 August. It follows the first event held in Gurugram and is part of the company’s plan to visit more cities across India.

The Spectrum event gives visitors the chance to see and try different cameras, printing solutions and imaging products. People can test the equipment for themselves through interactive “Touch and Try” zones. The event also includes photography exhibitions, creator sessions, live demonstrations and community activities. Its main idea is to let visitors experience the complete journey of taking a photograph and printing it in one place.

The number of people creating photos and digital content in India has grown quickly in recent years. Social media platforms, YouTube, short videos and independent filmmaking have increased the demand for high-quality cameras and imaging technology. Industry studies show that India’s creator economy is growing fast. Today, advanced cameras and printing equipment are used not only by professional photographers but also by students, travellers and small businesses.

At the event, Fujifilm is displaying its X Series mirrorless cameras, the large sensor GFX system, instax™ instant cameras, QuickSnap disposable cameras, optical devices and the ASK 400 dye sublimation photo printer. Binoculars and camera accessories are also on display.

FUJIFILM India Managing Director Koji Wada said:

“The response to the Gurugram edition of Fujifilm Spectrum showed us that Indian creators are looking for experiences that go beyond the product and into the craft itself. Carrying that energy forward to Ahmedabad is a meaningful step in our journey, one that stays true to our Group purpose of ‘Giving our world more smiles.’ We are proud to keep building a platform where creators can experience our rich heritage in imaging solutions, seamlessly fused with cutting-edge technology, in every city we visit.”

Arun Babu, Associate Director, Imaging Solutions Division, FUJIFILM India Private Limited, said:

“Every city we take Spectrum to adds a new dimension to how we understand the Indian creator community, and Ahmedabad has a deeply rooted culture of storytelling and craftsmanship that this edition is designed to meet head-on. By bringing our imaging portfolio from the X Series and large format GFX to instax™, QuickSnap, Optical Devices and the compact dye sublimation printer ASK 400, along with sessions from some of the finest names in visual storytelling, we want Ahmedabad to stand as a landmark chapter in the Spectrum journey.”

Ahmedabad was chosen for the tour because of its strong creative culture. The city is well known for design, art, architecture and documentary photography. It is home to the National Institute of Design (NID), many photography clubs and creative communities. This makes it a suitable place to bring photographers, filmmakers and visual storytellers together.

The event also includes sessions by well-known photographers and visual storytellers. Vivek Desai will speak on “Art of Storytelling”. Arvind Patwal will present “Content Creation: From Idea to Impact”. Jatin Kampani will present “Phantasmagoria”. Aditya Varma will speak about “Shooting Big Films with Small Cameras”. Prashant Godbole will present “Art of Observation”. Fujifilm’s technical experts will also hold sessions on “Build Your Portfolio” and “Film Simulation Recipes”. Fujifilm’s Film Simulation technology comes from the company’s long history of making photographic film. It allows photographers to create different colours and tones directly in the camera.

Visitors can also take part in the “Experience Passport Challenge”. They collect stamps by visiting different zones and sessions. Those who complete their passport will have a chance to win Fujifilm merchandise. The event also includes activities such as the “Shoot Your Friend” portrait challenge and the “Shoot and Vlog” contest using the Fujifilm X App.

Another important part of the event is Fujifilm X Academy. This is the company’s community-based learning platform. It offers photography and video workshops, tutorials and expert guidance. Visitors in Ahmedabad can experience these learning sessions in person.

The camera industry has changed a lot over the past ten years. Smartphone cameras have made everyday photography easier. However, advanced camera systems are still widely used for professional photography, filmmaking, wildlife photography, weddings, fashion and commercial work. Camera companies are now focusing not only on selling products but also on offering training, practical experiences and community support. Events such as Spectrum are part of this changing approach.

The Ahmedabad event is the second stop of Fujifilm’s Spectrum India Tour after Gurugram. The company has said that the tour will visit more cities across India in the coming months, giving more photographers and content creators the chance to experience its imaging technology.
