There are 32 teams this time and all these teams are divided equally in 8 different groups from A to H.
The groups are formed as below.
The Format:
The Group Stage -> The Round of 16 -> Quater Finals -> Semi Final -> Final
The Group Stage
Each team in the Group will play against each other once. The top two teams will reach the second stage which is the Round of 16.
There will be around 45 matches in the Group Stages. It is expected that big teams will surely make it to the second round; however, you never know on their day a small fish can kill its bigger counterpart.
Round of 16
There will be 8 matches in the Second Stage, called Round of 16, which it will be a knockout stage. The team that wins will move to the next round and the loser will pack their backs and go home and prepare for the next world cup qualification.
Quarter Finals
As sports-loving people we all know what the pressure of quarter-final matches is. From here onwards the real mental game begins. The coaches are busy analysing the opponent’s tactics, players, playing style, strengths, and weaknesses.
The game is played only for 90 minutes on the field; however, the game is played for days on the board of coaches and on the screens of analysts.
There will be 8 teams fighting for the spot in a Semi Final.
The Semi-Final:
Two semi-finals will decide the two teams moving to the final.
Final
Only one team can win that is the pity of each game. The winner will always be remembered more compared to the loser, and no one will even talk about the team landing on the third spot.
Who will be the winner of the Qatar World Cup, the world is going to be witnessed on 18th December 2022?
It will be Christmas before Christmas for that nation that will lift the trophy this year in Qatar.
