GreenX Talks 2026 Shows Powerful Human Spirit Stories
GreenX Talks 2026 Inspires Millions with Powerful and Brave Life Journeys
Mr Jeet Adani underscored that the Adani Group measures growth through inclusion, not scale. This view reflects a wider shift in how many global companies now define success. In recent years, large firms have begun to look beyond profit and size. They are focusing more on people, equal chances and social value. In India, too, there has been a strong push for inclusive growth, especially after the Rights of Persons with Disabilities Act, 2016, which gave stronger protection and equal rights to persons with disabilities. Mr Jeet Adani’s words show that the Adani Group wants to align with this wider movement, where growth means lifting more people and not leaving anyone behind.
Ms Diva Adani joined him in positioning GreenX as a celebration of dignity and human excellence. Her message that talent must be recognised through merit reflects a key change in social thinking. Across India, many organisations now focus on ability instead of disability. Programmes in education, sports and jobs are helping people prove their skills. Experts say dignity at work builds confidence and improves performance. By highlighting merit, GreenX follows this modern approach, where respect is given for achievement and effort.
Renowned classical dancer and actor Sudha Chandran and visually impaired entrepreneur Srikant Bolla, the Founder of Bollant Industries, headlined a platform anchored in possibility. Both their lives are powerful examples of courage. Sudha Chandran lost her leg in an accident in 1981. At that time, many believed her dance career was over. But she returned to the stage with a prosthetic limb and became famous worldwide. Her story is often used to inspire students and artists.
Srikant Bolla’s journey is also widely known. Born visually impaired, he faced rejection from schools and institutions. Yet he went on to study at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology in the United States, one of the world’s top universities. He later founded Bollant Industries, which makes eco-friendly products and gives jobs to many people with disabilities. His company has been recognised as a strong example of inclusive business in India. His presence at GreenX shows how determination can change lives.
Mr Gautam Adani, Chairman of the Adani Group, handed over the Adani Ability Awards recognising individuals who have demonstrated exceptional achievement across fields. Awards like these play an important role in society. They help bring hidden stories into the public eye. Recognition not only honours individuals but also inspires others. Many award winners in India have later gone on to influence policy, education and social change. By presenting these awards himself, Mr Gautam Adani highlighted the importance the group places on recognising human strength.
The fifth edition of GreenX Talks at Adani Corporate House in Ahmedabad reaffirmed a defining principle of the Adani Group that growth is never measured by scale alone, but by inclusion. Ahmedabad itself has become an important centre for business and social initiatives. The city is home to many large companies, educational institutions and social organisations. Events like GreenX Talks add to the city’s growing role as a place where business and social responsibility meet.
Inaugurating the event, Mr Jeet Adani, Director, Adani Airport Holdings Limited, India’s largest private airport operator, described GreenX as more than a forum. India’s airport sector has seen rapid growth in recent years. Private operators now manage many major airports. Adani Airport Holdings Limited operates several key airports across the country. With this scale comes responsibility, and Mr Jeet Adani’s message shows that the group wants its growth to also create social value.
Ms Diva Adani expanded on the philosophy, noting that GreenX recognises talent not through sympathy but merit. This idea is supported by research in workplace psychology. Experts say that people perform better when they are valued for their skills. Equal opportunity leads to stronger organisations. It also builds trust and fairness.
In this spirit of institutional inclusion, the Chief Guest for the event was V. Vidyavathi, Secretary, Department of Empowerment of Persons with Disabilities, Ministry of Social Justice and Empowerment. The Government of India has launched many schemes to support persons with disabilities. These include skill training, financial support and job programmes. The aim is to help people live independently and with dignity. Her presence at the event showed strong cooperation between the government and private organisations.
Sudha Chandran spoke about resilience and reinvention, urging individuals never to let circumstance define identity. Her life reflects medical and social progress in India. Today, better prosthetic technology and support systems help many people return to an active life after injury.
Srikant Bolla delivered one of the most resonant lines of the event. His success reflects the rise of inclusive entrepreneurship in India. Many start-ups today focus on social impact along with business. They create jobs for people who were previously excluded.
The programme also featured the Adani Ability Awards presented by Mr Gautam Adani. Ajay Kumar Reddy, former captain of the Indian Blind Cricket Team, was honoured. Blind cricket itself has grown greatly in India, with the national team winning world titles. Ayushi Dabas, IAS officer, received the Excellence in Public Service award. Her achievement shows how the civil services are becoming more diverse.
Lt Col C Dwarkesh was recognised for Service Courage in Adaptive Sports Excellence. Adaptive sports have become an important part of rehabilitation and empowerment. Malvika Iyer was awarded for Outstanding Disability Advocacy. She is known internationally for her work and has spoken at the United Nations.
Sheela Sharma received the Excellence for Creative Expression award, showing how art can break barriers. Srikanth Bolla was honoured for Excellence in Inclusive Entrepreneurship, while Sudha Chandran was recognised for Excellence in Cultural Contribution. Alina Alam, Founder of Mitti Café, was awarded for the Disruptive Employee Model. Her organisation is known for employing persons with disabilities in cafés across India. Meera Shenoy, Founder of Youth4Jobs, was honoured for Excellence in Execution. Her group has helped thousands find jobs.
Members of the Indian Blind Women’s Cricket Team were also felicitated. Their success reflects the rising strength of women in sports and disability sports.
Over five editions, GreenX Talks has evolved into a distinctive platform within the Adani Group ecosystem, spotlighting individuals who redefine strength and merit. Across India and the world, there is growing recognition that true progress includes everyone. For a conglomerate associated with large-scale infrastructure, the message is clear. Ambition drives progress, but character sustains it.
