Gujarat BJP Election Campaign Builds Trust in Gujarat
Gujarat BJP Election Campaign Builds an Emotional and Powerful Public Bond
The Gujarat Pradesh BJP Media Department said in a press note that, as part of the local body elections, Deputy Chief Minister Shri Harshbhai Sanghavi addressed a Vikas Sankalp Sabha at Amran in Morbi district. At the start of his speech, he paid tribute and offered respect at the feet of the late Shri Maganbhai Kasundra. Public meetings like these are a common part of election campaigns in India, where leaders speak directly to people to share their message and connect with voters at the ground level.
Speaking to a large number of citizens who attended despite the intense heat, he said that this strong presence shows the deep bond between the BJP and the people of this area. He said this bond will become even stronger in the coming time. Political experts often note that crowd turnout at such events is seen as a sign of public support, especially during local elections, where direct contact with voters plays a key role in shaping results.
He clearly said that he has not come only to ask for votes, but to strengthen the long-standing trust and affection between the BJP and the people of Gujarat. With the blessings of the people of Gujarat, the BJP has carried out development in every corner of the state. Over the years, Gujarat has been presented as a model of development, with a focus on roads, electricity, and basic services reaching many parts of the state. Reports from government sources show that efforts have been made to improve daily life through better access to power, water, and infrastructure.
He added that the people of Gujarat and the BJP together form the largest united family not just in India, but in the world. Political parties in India often describe their supporters as a large family to show unity and shared goals, especially during election periods.
Shri Harshbhai Sanghavi strongly criticised the Congress rule. He said that our elders have seen poor governance during Congress times. He said that in earlier years, many rural areas faced serious problems with water supply, and women often had to travel long distances to collect water. Studies and reports on rural India have also pointed out that access to basic services like water used to be a major challenge in many regions.
In those days, women had to walk many kilometres to fetch water. In Saurashtra, it was difficult to send daughters and sisters out of the house after evening. He appealed to the youth to learn the truth about the poor governance during the Congress rule and share it with society. Issues of safety and lack of infrastructure have been widely discussed in earlier decades, especially in smaller towns and villages across India.
He said that today in Gujarat, women can move freely even at midnight without fear. If any troublemakers harass women, the Gujarat Police take strict action and teach them a lesson. He also said that the BJP government is committed to finding criminals and putting them in jail to keep law and order strong. Law and order have been a major focus for state governments across India, with police reforms and stricter action often highlighted in public speeches.
Shri Sanghavi praised the leadership of Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi. He said that the credit for bringing Gujarat on the path of development from poor governance goes to his leadership. Narendra Modi’s leadership has often been linked with large-scale development programmes, especially during his time as Chief Minister of Gujarat and later as Prime Minister.
He said that under the Kisan Samman Nidhi scheme, the Modi government sends Rs 6,000 every year directly into the accounts of farmers, while such direct help was not given during the Congress rule. This scheme, launched in 2019, provides financial support to farmers in three instalments each year and has reached millions of farmers across India.
Today, electricity has reached every village in Gujarat and across the country. Gujarat has earlier introduced schemes like Jyotigram Yojana to improve power supply in rural areas, helping provide regular electricity for both homes and farms. Reports also show that a large number of villages in the state now receive steady power, improving daily life and farming activities.
Through the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana, Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi has helped poor people fulfil their dream of owning a home. Government data shows that crores of houses have been approved under this scheme, aiming to provide safe housing to families who did not have proper homes earlier.
Under the Ayushman Bharat scheme, poor and middle-class families are getting free treatment up to Rs 10 lakh. This scheme is known as one of the largest healthcare programmes, created to reduce the cost of medical treatment for families who cannot afford it easily.
At the event, District BJP President Jayantibhai Rajkotia, District In-charge Gajendrabhai Saxena, MLAs, office-bearers of the district BJP organisation, leaders, senior members, workers, and well-wishers were present. Such gatherings usually include party leaders and workers, who play an important role in spreading the message of the party at the local level and connecting with people in their areas.
