Bullet Point Synopsis:

In a proud moment for India’s textile machinery industry, Truetzschler India, the Indian branch of the 137-year-old German company Trützschler Group SE, has opened a massive and ultra-modern manufacturing facility in Sanand, near Ahmedabad.

This new plant is not just a new building—it’s a symbol of how serious Truetzschler is about growing in India. With a major investment of Rs. 400 crore, the company has shown its strong trust and long-term commitment to India’s future.

The launch event was grand and full of dignitaries. Present at the inauguration were:

The event marked an important day not only for the company but also for India’s manufacturing sector. Shri Bhupendra Patel praised the company’s investment and called it a new chapter in Gujarat’s industrial growth.

Truetzschler India has been working in the country since 1977, originally known as “Trumac.” Over the years, it has grown so much that its earlier factories in Lambha were running out of space.

To continue growing, the company decided to build a larger, smarter plant. So, they bought 42 acres of land in Sanand, a popular industrial area near Ahmedabad.

After three years of hard work, the factory is finally up and running. The Card Clothing Division began work in July last year, and the Spinning Division started in February this year.

This new plant is more than just big—it’s smart and modern too. Here are some key features:

At the launch, Shri Parshottam Ji Rupala introduced Truetzschler’s newest innovation: the Tc26i Intelligent Carding Machine. This high-tech machine is designed to improve efficiency in textile manufacturing and sets new standards in the industry.

Alongside, Gujarat CM Bhupendra Patel revealed a commemorative plaque marking this major milestone.

Truetzschler operates across the globe, including countries like:

And now, with the Sanand plant, India has become home to Truetzschler’s largest and most technologically advanced factory. That’s a huge vote of confidence in Indian engineering and workforce skills.

During the event, Truetzschler leaders thanked the Gujarat Government, their German and Indian teams, as well as their suppliers and employees, for making this dream a reality.

Their success shows how international collaboration, skilled workforce, and supportive local governance can build something world-class right here in India.
