Mumbai sparkled with lights and music as legends of the Indian music industry came together for a spectacular event celebrating the upcoming series Hai Junoon – Dream. Dare. Dominate. The much-anticipated series, directed by Abhishek Sharma and produced by Jio Creative Labs, is set to stream exclusively on JioHotstar from May 16, 2025. The grand musical evening was hosted by JioHotstar, Jio Creative Labs, and Saregama, transforming the night into a magical journey of melodies and memories.

The event was nothing short of a musical masterpiece. Legendary singer Shankar Mahadevan took the stage alongside his sons, Siddharth and Shivam Mahadevan, to perform his timeless hit Breathless. The trio’s synchrony and passion filled the air with magic, earning thunderous applause from the audience.

Adding to the night’s enchantment, Sonu Nigam delivered a soulful rendition of Gale Lagana. His powerful voice carried emotions that rippled through the crowd, leaving everyone mesmerized.

In a deeply emotional moment, Nitin Mukesh was joined by his son, Neil Nitin Mukesh, to perform the classic Jeena Yahan Marna Yahan, paying homage to the legacy of Mukesh Ji, one of India’s most beloved playback singers. Their heartfelt performance was met with a standing ovation, a testament to the family’s timeless musical legacy.

The night wasn’t just about music; it was also a celebration of the stars of Hai Junoon. Leading actors from the series, including Jacqueline Fernandez, Neil Nitin Mukesh, Boman Irani, Sumedh Mudgalkar, Siddharth Nigam, Priyank Sharma, Anushka Sen, and others, took the stage. They brought the spirit of the show to life with dynamic performances of tracks like Vibe Hai Mumbai, Ek Main Aur Ek Tu Hai, and Lekar Hum Deewana Dil.

Jacqueline Fernandez, who plays a mentor to the underdog dance crew Misfits, shared her excitement. “This was an unforgettable night! The energy from the crowd and the amazing performances were electrifying. Hai Junoon is a story of fighting for your dreams, no matter the odds. The Misfits are a symbol of strength and unity. I can’t wait for the world to meet them,” she shared with enthusiasm.

For veteran singer Nitin Mukesh, the event was a moment of pride and nostalgia. Sharing the stage with his son Neil brought back memories of his father, the legendary Mukesh Ji. “It’s a blessing to watch my son continue the legacy. Performing Jeena Yahan Marna Yahan with him was like reliving history. Our family’s musical journey has always been about emotion, connection, and pure artistry,” he reflected warmly.

Legendary composer and singer Shankar Mahadevan described the event as electric. “The energy tonight was incredible. Music is not just a backdrop in Hai Junoon; it’s a heartbeat. It brings stories alive, and tonight proved that music can truly move hearts,” he said.

Sonu Nigam echoed this sentiment, saying, “Hai Junoon is the voice of today’s youth. Its music is bold, raw, and powerful. I’m so proud to be part of this project. I know it will touch many hearts.”

The musical night marked a grand celebration of talent, legacy, and dreams, setting the stage for the series launch with unmatched excitement. With its powerful cast, soul-stirring music, and themes of ambition and resilience, Hai Junoon is all set to dominate hearts starting May 16.
