HAPPY BIRTHDAY, SURYAKUMAR YADAV: If you are a die-hard supporter of Indian cricket, you probably already know who Suryakumar Yadav is. In the Indian Premier League or IPL, he plays cricket professionally for India. This high-order batsman, who was born on September 14th, 1990, is right-handed and is from Uttar Pradesh. Yes, it is his birthday today, therefore it only makes sense to learn a little bit about this outstanding hitter on his special day.

One of the most aggressive and shrewd batters in contemporary cricket, Suryakumar Yadav is frequently compared to the South African icon AB De Villiers. He is known as India’s Mr. 360. His astounding invention has recently confounded the cricketing world, playing utterly unconventional strokes wherever in the park at will.

In addition, he is one of the most dependable players in white-ball cricket thanks to his steely nerves and capacity to grasp even the most stressful circumstances. Surya has established himself as India’s fourth batter and solidified his place in the team’s star-studded batting order with his scorching performances.
After being denied the opportunity to bat in his T20I debut, Suryakumar made his international debut against a well-prepared England team. Regarding his first time batting for Team India, Surya exhibited no symptoms of nerves. Instead, he destroyed Jofra Archer and the rest of the team, striking the game’s highest total of 57 off just 31 balls and launching India into a winning position. Surya never gave the impression that he was a player batting for the first time in an international cricket match. He showed excellent technique while driving and controlled the field with his unconventional smashes.

117 off 55 against England, T20I, 2022

Suryakumar crushed his first T20I century against England as his team chased a lofty 216-run target. While none of the other India batters reached the 30-run threshold, SKY played an incredible 117-run innings off just 55 pitches on the difficult Trent Bridge pitch. Despite the fact that wickets continued falling at the other end, Surya maintained his composure and attacked the opponent. He was slamming even the best deliveries to any part of the ground at will for significant portions of his innings, leaving the English bowlers with nothing to do but stand in awe.

Asia Cup 2022 matchup versus Hong Kong: 68 off 26

When India and Hong Kong fought in the just-finished Asia Cup, Suryakumar Yadav showed the difference in class between the two nations. The novice bowlers from the associate nation were at the hands of SKY, who ruthlessly destroyed them throughout the park. He continued to play without being dismissed, scoring 68 runs in just 26 balls at a mind-boggling strike rate of 262, which helped India reach an intimidating total of 192 runs.

West Indies T20I, 2022: 76 off 44

When he walked out with skipper Rohit Sharma to start the innings against the West Indies, the versatile batsman demonstrated his ability to bat wherever in the order. The problem is that Surya’s V is behind the wicket, hence his presentation on scoring runs in the V was incomplete. Surya continued to dance on his feet, moving down the field to hit over mid-wicket or deep into the crease to scoop the ball over the keeper. Surya destroyed the home team with stroke-filled 76-ball innings, smashing the opposition.

2021 T20I matchup versus New Zealand: 62 off 40

In the opening T20I of the series, India played aggressively against a powerful New Zealand team. On a scorcher of a wicket in Jaipur, the spinners shone and held the Kiwis to 164/6. Indian openers Rohit Sharma and KL Rahul, who were chasing a modest total, established the tone for the chase until Rahul was bowled by Mitchel Santner. Surya, who was ranked third, stepped out and gave a clinic in handling spin. The Mumbai batsman scored 62 runs in 40 deliveries to win the match, sweeping Santner and company to victory.
