The New City e: HEV, which starts at INR 19 49 900 (ex-showroom, Delhi), is the first automobile in the mainstream category to have Strong Hybrid Electric technology. The City e: HEV is equipped with Honda’s unique Self-charging and Highly Efficient Two Motor Electric Hybrid system, which is coupled to a smooth 1.5-liter Atkinson-Cycle DOHC i-VTEC petrol engine to deliver the World’s Best Electric-Hybrid performance with an exhilarating drive, astounding fuel efficiency of 26.5 km/l, and ultra-low emissions. With the new City e: HEV, Honda has also launched its Advanced Intelligent Safety Technology “Honda SENSING” for the first time in India. e: HEV. By 2050, the firm wants to be carbon neutral and have zero collision deaths, according to its global vision.

Honda SENSING is a high-performance front camera with a wide-angle, far-reaching detecting system that scans the road ahead and alerts the driver to reduce the risk of accidents and, in certain situations, act to avoid or diminish the severity of a collision. Honda SENSING’s trademark features include Collision Mitigation Braking System (CMBS), Adaptive Cruise Control, Road Departure Mitigation (RDM), Lane Keeping Assist System (LKAS), and Auto High-Beam.
The Honda Connect features of the New City e: HEV is 37. Honda Connect now works with wristwatch devices, in addition to Alexa and OK Google, to improve the connected car experience. For existing and new Honda City customers, smartwatch integration is also available for the 5th Generation Honda City Petrol and Diesel versions.
Radiant Red Metallic, Platinum White Pearl, Meteoroid Grey Metallic, Golden Brown Metallic, and Lunar Silver Metallic are the five spectacular hues offered for the New City e: HEV.
The Advanced Hybrid Electric Vehicle New City e: HEV will be manufactured in India at HCIL’s state-of-the-art manufacturing facility in Tapukara, Rajasthan, in yet another first for the company.
Following the introduction, the business will begin delivering the vehicle to its dealer network across the country.
