Synopsis: HTH is a family drama and social movie. The story revolves around a girl from a village in Gujarat. Getting married to an NRI settled in Europe. The Girl is finding it difficult to get accustomed to the European culture as she is from a small village.
The main story is about the male ego which gets hurt and how he takes revenge.

The story revolves around the lead character, Heer (Puja Joshi) who has many times refused to get any kind of relationship with Yash (Ojas Raval), but eventually has to marry him.
The other lead character, Harry (Bharat Chavda) meets Heer, coincidently and falls in love with her and which creates a love triangle.
Harry is a flamboyant kind of character but gets changed after meeting Heer.
Bharat Chavda is very well fitting with the character and has played his part perfectly in the movie.
Ojas Raval is playing the character of Yash and is a kind negative role in the movie. He is playing the role of the husband of Heer.
The movie is shot in Gujarat and also in Europe. However, there are no exotic locations in Europe is shown in the movie which I think would have added more glamour and glare to the movie.
The story and direction of “Hoon Taari Heer”
The director of the movie is Dhwani Gautam and has done a very nice job. The direction looks great. However, the cinematography is not proper in some instances the head of the character was getting cut. When a character is speaking or narrating, he/she must be completely visible on the screen.
Dhwani Gautam is a very good director and has directed a lot of Gujarati films such as The Last Don, Romance Complicated, Tuu To Gayo, Midnights with Menka, Order Order Out Of Order, Golkeri, etc.
There is no doubt about his direction skills.
Positive Points of the movie:
- The dialogues are awesome and many times you will have a WOW feeling.
- The acting of all the lead characters especially Yash (Ojas Raval) is excellent, full marks to all lead characters.
- Music is good to the ears and will not give you a headache.
Negative points of the movie:
- The cinematography is poor.
- How did Harry find Yash and gave Heer back to him, I am still not able to understand.
- More locations of Europe should have been shown, We all know how beautiful Europe is.
- Last 15 minutes you will feel that you are watching DDLJ in Gujarati.
Final Words: A family, drama, and a little romantic kind of film. Definitely one-time watch a movie with family and friends.
