ICC Awards 2021

This year’s ICC Awards honour the best players in both men’s and women’s international cricket.

From the emergence of South Africa’s Janneman Malan to Tammy Beaumont’s run-scoring T20 exploits and the astute leadership of Zeeshan Maqsood, the international game has seen a lot of new and old faces imprint their mark.

The recipients of this year’s ICC Awards are listed here.  More awards are to be announced during the day.

Awards as Listed as Below

Marais Erasmus, ICC Umpire of the Year

Australia and New Zealand are in the final of the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup.

Mohammad Rizwan (Pakistan) was named ICC Men’s T20I Cricketer of the Year after scoring 1326 runs in 29 matches at an average of 73.66 with one century and 24 dismissals.

Tammy Beaumont (England) was named ICC Women’s T20I Cricketer of the Year after scoring 303 runs in nine matches at an average of 33.66 with three half-centuries.

Janneman Malan (South Africa) was named the ICC Emerging Men’s Cricketer of the Year after scoring 715 runs in 17 international matches at a strike rate of 101.85, including two centuries and three fifties.

Fatima Sana (Pakistan) was named the ICC Emerging Women’s Cricketer of the Year after taking 24 wickets at an average of 23.95 and scoring 165 runs at 16.50 in 16 international matches.

Zeeshan Maqsood (Oman) was named the ICC Men’s Associate Cricketer of the Year after scoring 316 runs at 31.60 and taking 21 wickets at 18.80 in 13 international matches.

Andrea-Mae Zepeda (Austria) was named ICC Women’s Associate Cricketer of the Year after scoring 361 runs in eight T20Is at an average of 51.57 and a strike rate of 102.55, including a century and two fifties.

Babar Azam (Pakistan) was named ICC Men’s ODI Cricketer of the Year after scoring 405 runs at an average of 67.50 in six matches, including two centuries.

Lizelle Lee (South Africa) was named ICC Women’s ODI Cricketer of the Year after scoring 632 runs in 11 matches at an average of 90.28, including one century and five half-centuries.

Joe Root (England) was named ICC Men’s Test Cricketer of the Year after scoring 1708 runs in 15 matches, including six centuries.

Smriti Mandhana (India) wins the Rachael Heyhoe Flint Trophy for ICC Women’s Cricketer of the Year (India)

With one century and five half-centuries, he scored 855 runs in 22 internationals at an average of 38.86.
