ICC Women’s T20 World Cup 2023 – South Africa

The schedule for the 2023 Women’s World Cup has been released by the International Cricket Council (ICC). In the month of February 2023, the 8th ICC Women’s World Cup will take place. The ICC Women’s World Cup will be held in South Africa this year.

The 8th Women’s World Cup will get underway in Newlands, Cape Town, on February 10, 2023. The final will take place on February 26, 2023, with a backup day on February 27. The tournament matches will be played in Cape Town, Paarl, and Gqeberha, with the knockout rounds taking place there.

Groups for the 2022 ICC Women’s T20 World Cup

There are 10 teams participating in this T20 World Cup, which are divided into two groups. The group games will last through February 21 and each team will play the other four teams in their group once. The top two teams from each group advance to the semifinals at the end of the group stage.

Group A:  Bangladesh, South Africa, Sri Lanka, South Africa, and Australia.

Group B: India, Pakistan, England, the West Indies, and Ireland.

The International Cricket Council (ICC) originally planned for the ICC Women’s World Cup to take place in 2022, but owing to the COVID-19 epidemic, the event was postponed. The 8th ICC Women’s World Cup will now take place in February 2023, according to the new schedule.
