ICSI PROJECTS
I. International Conferences of the ICSI
The fourth international conference of the ICSI, with the subject Embracing Innovation Enhancing Good Governance, will take place in Sydney, Australia, on September 3–5, 2025. The conference will offer a platform to network with industry pioneers, thought leaders, and potential investors for business expansion, as well as learning and resource enhancement possibilities.
2. ICSI National Conference on Sustainability
On July 26–27, 2025, in Udaipur, Rajasthan, the ICSI held its National Sustainability Conference 2025 with the subject “Fostering Sustainability towards a Resilient Future.”
The conference was attended by the Hon. Dr. Prem Chand Bairwa, the Deputy Chief Minister of Rajasthan, as the Chief Guest, and Prof. (Dr.) Gourav Vallabh, a member of the Prime Minister’s Economic Advisory Council, as the Special Guest.
III. NEW PROGRAMS
Series on Capacity Building
A recent ICSI project aimed to improve members’ and students’ knowledge and abilities.
Women Returning to Company Secretarial Roles: An ICSI Certificate Course on Professional Reboot
A certificate program that gives women in computer science the skills and knowledge they need to return to their professional jobs after taking a break from them.
MBA program in Maritime Regulations and Compliance Management, two years, full-time
a collaborative program between Gujarat Marine University and ICSI that combines the study of computer science with knowledge of marine regulations and rules. Students will gain practical experience, develop their abilities, and become more employable in fields related to shipping management and marine rules.
Corporate and Securities Markets Compliance Joint Certificate Course (CSMC)
NISM’s meticulously designed one-year residential program, which is compared to the greatest and most recent textbooks. An industry internship and application-based teaching methodology are part of the curriculum.
ICSI Business Manager Certificate Program
intended to give professionals the information and abilities they need to perform their jobs in the United Arab Emirates. The legal system, pertinent business practices, and the business climate in the United Arab Emirates are the main topics of the course.
IV. STUDENT AND MEMBER INITIATIVES
Direct enrolment in the Company Secretary Executive Program is available to graduates and postgraduates from accredited universities. For students enrolled in its Executive and Professional Program, the ICSI has started offering online Doubt Clearing Classes.
ICSI Stewardship Guiding Principles (IGPS)
These concepts are unique, in line with the worldwide trend, and provide much-needed direction for responsible and sustainable investing. The IGPS is a framework of ethical stewardship practices that empowers Institutional Investors and Service Providers by outlining best practices for responsible investment that take into account environmental, social, and governance considerations.
Workplace Governance and Compliance Standard on PoSH
In addition to offering guidance on creating gender-neutral PoSH policy and encouraging inclusivity, the ICSI created the standard to provide uniform protocols for Internal Committee meetings, complaint and inquiry procedures, and training/capacity building initiatives for staff members and Internal Committee members.
The ICSI International ADR Centre was established to establish a favourable environment for clearing the judicial system and delivering prompt justice.
MSME and ICSI Startup Catalyst make
a special effort to give ICSI members the skills and knowledge needed to mentor MSMEs and startups.
Institute of Social Auditors of ICSI
A section 8 business was established to improve the social audit and effect analysis of India’s social governance framework. The ICSI-ISA will create social audit standards, register social auditors, establish their professional conduct standards, and collaborate with NISM to create and offer social audit courses.
Social Auditing Standards of ICSI
created by the ICSI and includes instructions for performing a social audit of a social enterprise involved in any of the 16 activities listed in Regulation 292E(2)(a) of SEBI (ICDR), Regulations 2018.
The Toolkit for Registered Valuers
The Registered Valuer’s Toolkit, published by the ICSI RVO, aims to provide prospective and practising Registered Valuers with the necessary information, legal frameworks, useful tools, and moral advice to complete valuation tasks.

ICSI International Centres
By establishing ICSI Overseas Centres in Australia, Canada, Singapore, the United Arab Emirates, the United Kingdom, and the United States, the ICSI has established a presence in the global arena in line with its vision to “be a global leader in promoting good Corporate Governance” and its mission to “develop high calibre professionals facilitating good Corporate Governance.”
Services Exports Promotion Council (SEPC) and ICSI Memorandum of Understanding
The Memorandum of Understanding will give ICSI members access to international markets and tailored training programs. It will make it easier to collaborate on international events, share resources, and conduct joint research.
VII. COLLABORATIONS IN ACADEMIC
ICSI Commerce Olympiad and International Commerce Olympiad
In order to organise Olympiads in Indian schools and raise awareness of the Company Secretary Course and Profession among students, the ICSI has inked Memorandums of Understanding (MoU) with the Science Olympiad Foundation (SOF), Humming Bird Education Limited, International Olympiad Foundation, and Silver Zone Foundation.
Academic Connect ICSI
In order to work with different IIMs, IIT (IIT Madras), National Law University, and other nationally renowned institutions to impart knowledge and acumen skills to students, academicians, and professionals, the ICSI launched the Academic Connect initiative.
VIII. Social Initiatives of ICSI
Fee Waiver
• For CS Executive Program registration by Indian military personnel, paramilitary forces, Agni Veers, families of martyrs, and wards of Indian military personnel and paramilitary forces.
• For students enrolled in the CSEET and CS Executive Program from Jammu & Kashmir, Ladakh
Concession Fees
• Free concessions for SC/ST and physically disabled students.
• For students enrolling in the CSEET & CS Executive Program from the Andaman & Nicobar Islands, Lakshadweep, North Eastern states, and Himachal Pradesh.
Additional Benefits: • For deserving and financially disadvantaged students, fees are waived under the Students’ Education Fund Trust scheme.
