Ahmedabad: The Erda’s Speedway by Cinemera team is happy to announce that the track will open to the general public on January 24, 2023. The track can be found in Ahmedabad’s Applewoods Township, Shantipura Circle, and SP Ring road. The location of the press conference was Applewoods Township. The Ahmedabad Urban Development Authority’s Chief Executive Officer, Shri D P Desai (IAS), was present.
Our Pride of Gujarat, Mira Erda, is a Formula 4 racer, a Red Bull athlete, the brand ambassador for the Gujarat Road Safety Traffic Commission, and a member of the FMSCI Karting Commission. She constantly works to promote motorsport with the motto “Speed with Safety,” that is, within closed circuits supervised by qualified trainers, in turn promoting the message of general road safety.
“The aim of Erda’s Speedway by Cinema, a project in collaboration with Ahmedabad Urban Development Authorities (AUDA), will be to create a platform for the people of Gujarat to experience speed with the utmost safety,” said Formula 4 racer Mira Erda. “It will be western India’s largest motorsport hub with state-of-the-art facilities specially designed to accommodate a wide variety of motorsport vehicles ranging from karts to motorcycles, and also
Since 2010, she has competed in professional racing and has won numerous awards, bringing honour to our nation. She serves as the Team Principal for “Erda’s Racing,” our professional national racing team. She also serves as the driver instructor for our racing academy, “Erda’s Racing Academy,” where she mentors more than 100 students annually in an effort to encourage young drivers to pursue careers in the motorsports industry.
The track is 600 meters long, has four possible layout options, and has a 9-meter width. Additionally, we are quite proud that the racetrack, our racing team, and our racing academy have all received accreditation from the Federation of Motorsports Clubs of India (FMSCI), which is the organization in charge of overseeing motorsports in India.
Our goal is to excite and amuse spectators while also igniting their passion for motorsports in Ahmedabad.
