In honour of the 11th National Handloom Day, EDII brought together designers, innovators, and artisans to redefine Indian handlooms for a worldwide audience, celebrating the handloom as a living tradition. From Channapatna toys and Kohlapuri chappals to Badarwas jackets and Dahod pottery, the exhibition displayed a diverse array of indigenous crafts that reflected the regional and cultural diversity of India’s handcrafted heritage. Distinguished Speaker Mr. Rohit Swarup, Founder & MD of Designversity, Dr. Etinder Pal Singh, Professor, EDII, and Dr. Piyush Sinha, Senior Professor, EDI, participated in an insightful conversation with worldwide participants of ongoing ITEC programs. Another person involved in cluster formation is Dr. Rajesh Gupta, an associate professor at EDII.
