At ALUMEX India 2025, India’s aluminium extrusion sector will take front place on the international scene.

The first edition of ALUMEX India 2025, the nation’s first and most extensive platform devoted to the aluminium extrusion industry, will be held by the Aluminium Extrusion Manufacturers Association of India (ALEMAI), the leading trade association representing the nation’s aluminium extrusion manufacturing sector.

The event, which is set to take place at Bharat Mandapam in New Delhi from September 11 to 13, will bring together innovators, global leaders, and other important stakeholders for a convergence of sectoral advancement, business networking, and knowledge-sharing.

In order to support ALEMAI in its mission to foster growth, innovation, and sustainability in the aluminium extrusion, profile, and section products industry, ALUMEX India seeks to establish India as a future-ready centre for environmentally conscious manufacturing. With more than 200 exhibitors, 100 business-to-business meetings, and an anticipated 12,000 attendees from around the world, the conference and expo will offer a vibrant platform for exhibiting skills throughout the aluminium value chain.

“ALUMEX India 2025 is a landmark initiative that reflects the strength and aspirations of the Indian aluminium extrusion industry,” stated Jitendra Chopra, President of ALEMAI, when providing information about the event. In addition to strengthening India’s position as a major participant in the global aluminium extrusion industry, the event provides a strategic platform to encourage innovation, stimulate company growth, and lessen the country’s need for imports. ALUMEX India seeks to influence the future of the industry by uniting prominent voices from both India and elsewhere. ALEMAI is committed to fostering the industry’s further expansion and international integration.

The conference will include thought leaders from related industries like construction, electric mobility, solar, and packaging, as well as dignitaries from the Ministry of Mines, the Ministry of External Affairs, the Ministry of Commerce & Industries, the MSME Ministry, DPIIT, international aluminium councils, and industry veterans, innovators, and technology providers.

The promotion and adoption of aluminium extrusion profile and section products, production-linked incentive (PLI) programs to boost domestic manufacturing capabilities, international outreach opportunities for Indian MSMEs, and initiatives to debunk widespread myths that impede domestic use will be among the main topics of discussion.

Suppliers of aluminium extrusion equipment and raw materials, fabricators, extruders, anodizers, hardware suppliers, and related businesses like architects, automakers, solar panel manufacturers, and electric vehicle manufacturers will all be exhibitors at ALUMEX India 2025.

Throughout the aluminium extrusion value chain, the Buyer-Seller Meet at ALUMEX India will enable focused B2B exchanges, generating significant chances for cooperation, sourcing, and company growth.

Visitors will also come from a wide range of industries, such as the packaging industry, solar energy equipment suppliers, electronics and electrical goods makers, aluminium alloyed and casting product suppliers, and many more.

To increase community engagement and collaboration, a special Gujarat Connect meeting was organised as part of the outreach activities to raise awareness of the event and actively encourage people to participate collectively.

Gujarat, a major hub for aluminium extrusion in the nation, is anticipated to see substantial growth potential as a result of ALUMEX India 2025. The state is now home to some of the biggest aluminium firms in India. Gujarat is well known for being a significant hub for the extrusion of aluminium, and it boasts a flourishing manufacturing and related industry ecosystem. Gujarat is a dominant force in this industry thanks to Rajkot’s strong cluster of aluminium foundries, many of which are involved in aluminium extrusion and related operations.

More than 225 of India’s 400–450 aluminium extrusion facilities are ALEMAI members, representing MSMEs to Nifty 50 firms.
