In a big step towards making India cleaner and greener, IRM Energy Limited (IRMEL) has proudly opened its 111th Compressed Natural Gas (CNG) station. This new addition is also the company’s 29th station for the ongoing financial year 2024-25, showing just how serious IRMEL is about spreading clean fuel options across the country.
This achievement is more than just a number—it’s a reflection of the company’s hard work and its mission to promote sustainable mobility. With every new station, IRMEL is making it easier for people to switch to eco-friendly fuels like CNG.
IRMEL’s growth story isn’t limited to one area. It’s happening across different parts of the country. One of the shining examples is the Banaskantha region in Gujarat. This area alone now has 49 CNG stations, and 40 of these are franchise-operated outlets, which also supports local entrepreneurship and employment.
In other parts of India, things are moving quickly too:
-
Fatehgarh Sahib and Diu, Gir-Somnath teams have added 2 new stations each, expanding their clean fuel network further.
-
The biggest push has come from Namakkal & Trichy, which is the newest area managed by IRMEL. They’ve added a massive 18 new CNG stations, bringing their total to 33 in just one fiscal year. This is helping ensure fuel availability in these fast-growing regions.
Speaking about this achievement, Mr. Manoj Kumar Sharma, CEO of IRM Energy Limited, said,
“This growth shows our deep commitment to a cleaner and greener India. Our teams in various GAs (Geographical Areas) have worked hard to make this possible, and the support from our corporate leadership has been incredible. We’ll continue to push for CNG adoption and make clean energy more accessible to everyone.”
Compressed Natural Gas (CNG) is a much cleaner fuel compared to traditional petrol and diesel. Vehicles running on CNG release fewer pollutants, helping reduce air pollution and carbon emissions. That’s why the Indian government is also encouraging its use as part of its mission to reduce the nation’s carbon footprint.
With IRMEL’s expanding network, more people now have the choice to switch to a greener and more economical fuel option. It’s not just good for the environment—it’s good for their pockets too!
IRM Energy isn’t just setting up stations. They’re building an entire ecosystem to support customer convenience and sustainable development. The company is investing in infrastructure to ensure quick and reliable service at every CNG outlet.
Their franchise model is also empowering local business owners to join the clean energy movement, helping grow communities along with the company.
India has set ambitious goals for reducing its dependence on fossil fuels. IRMEL’s efforts go hand-in-hand with this national vision. By expanding its CNG network, the company is playing an important role in helping India transition to alternative fuels and promoting sustainable transportation.
As more regions come under IRMEL’s coverage, the benefits of CNG are reaching smaller towns and remote areas, ensuring that the clean fuel movement is truly inclusive.
