Salman Khan’s next action-comedy, directed by Farhad Samji, has been in the news for a long time for a variety of reasons. However, it appears that the cast of the film has finally been completed. Jagapathi Babu has reportedly been cast in Kabhi Eid Kabhi Diwali, after Venkatesh’s inclusion in the film.
Salman is currently making a pan-India picture and is going all out in terms of casting. He gathered his crew and chose his favorite actors by hand. Pooja Hegde and his dear buddy Venkatesh were the first to be cast in the film. According to Bollywood Hungama, Salman has taken on another Telugu actor, Jagapathi Babu, from a close source.
For the uninitiated, Jagapathi Babu was set to direct Salman Khan in Dabangg 3, but plans fell through due to schedule difficulties. And he took this part right away when Salman offered it to him. The team wanted a flawless villain to confront Salman and Venkatesh in the film, and no one could do it better than Jagapathi, according to the insider.
Jagapathi Babu will join Salman for the film’s Hyderabad shoot in June. Salman Khan, Pooja Hegde, Venkatesh, Jagapathi Babu, Shehnaaz Gill, Jassie Gill, Raghav, Siddharth Nigam, and Malvika Sharma round up Farhad Samji’s ensemble cast. Aayush Sharma has reportedly dropped out of the film due to conceptual differences, according to Bollywood Hungama.
Salman is in talks with a number of comedic actors from the Bollywood and Telugu film industries to join him in this action-comedy.
The title and director of the picture are expected to be revealed soon, and it will be released on December 30 this year, according to an insider.
