Karnataka Wows Visitors at IITM Hyderabad 2023 – A Journey Through Culture and Nature

Tourism had everyone talking at the IITM Hyderabad event, which happened from December 1st to 3rd, 2023. They set up at stand P7 in People’s Plaza, making sure visitors got a good look at Karnataka’s cool traditions, old buildings, and awesome nature.

The show had pictures and stories about Karnataka’s old buildings, like Hampi, Pattadakal, and special temples in Belur, Halebidu, and Somanathapur. These are so cool that they’re on UNESCO’s list! There were also big forts to see, like Bidar Fort and Bellary Fort. And imagine going to peaceful places like Coorg, Chikmagalur, Sakaleshpura, and Kodachadri. They even shared the fun of festivals like Ugadi, Dasara, and Makar Sankranti.

Food lovers were in for a treat too! The show talked about Karnataka’s yummy food like Bisi Bele Bath, Dosa, and Mysore Park. Visitors could practically taste the flavors just by looking at the pictures!
Nature’s Wonders in Karnataka:
But it wasn’t just about buildings and food – Karnataka’s wildlife got its moment too. There were amazing photos and videos of tigers, elephants, and colorful birds living in Karnataka’s green forests.
Who Showed Up:
Representatives from Karnataka Tourism, like Mr. Janardhan H P, Joint Director, were there. Also, some tourism companies from Karnataka, like The Aurum Hotels & Resorts, Tripbanao, and Jungle Lodges & Resorts Limited, joined in.
Big Names Came Too:
Important people from the tourism world visited Karnataka’s stand, like Ms. Rakhee Kankaria, who knows a lot about tourism, and Mr. Krupakar Ravipati from India Tourism.
Talking Business:
Besides just looking at pictures, there were serious talks about tourism too. They discussed things like ecotourism (that’s about nature), heritage tourism (that’s about old stuff), adventure tourism (that’s about exciting things), and wildlife tourism (that’s about animals). This is important because it helps Karnataka plan for more exciting things in the future.
