Khatija Rahman, the daughter of music legend AR Rahman, recently married audio engineer Riyasdeen Shaik Mohamed. “May the Almighty bless the couple… thank you in advance for your good wishes and affection,” AR Rahman posted on Instagram beside a family photo from the nikah ceremony.
The newlyweds are pictured with AR Rahman, his wife Saira Banu, and their other two children, Raheema and Ameen. A portrait of Rahman’s late mother, Kareema Rahman, is also displayed on the side.
Khatija also announced her wedding on Instagram with a photo. She stated, “It was the most anticipated day of my life. I’m married to my husband.” It provides a better view of their wedding attire.
Her makeup artist also gave a sneak peek at her wedding look.
Khatija, like her father, is a singer and musician. She has performed in several Tamil films, including Enthiran (Robot”Pudhiya )’s Manisha” and Mimi’s “Rock a Bye Baby.”
