The EV6 will be limited to 100 clients in 2022 and will be available on a first-come, first-served basis. The vehicle is imported as a fully assembled unit (CBU). The automobile will be available in the country in the first week of June 2022, according to Kia. While the pricing hasn’t been revealed, we estimate it to start at less than Rs 40 lakh (ex-showroom).

Here are some detailed photos of the EV6.

Features of the Kia EV6

The Kia EV6 will be offered in India in premium GT Line trims and will have technology like the multi-charging system, which works with both 400V and 800V chargers without the need for a separate controller. The list also contains important aspects such as:

-Using a 350KWh charger, the car’s quick charging technology powers it from 10% to 80% in as little as 18 minutes.

-It also includes a capability that uses 2-way charging technology to allow the car to power other gadgets (enough to power a medium-size home AC).

-A dual motor all-wheel-drive (AWD) system is also included for improved acceleration and all-weather grip.

-There are three driving modes: Normal, Sport, and Eco. With these modes, owners will be able to see a considerable shift in performance and economy to fit their needs.

-Kia also receives intelligent regenerative braking. To increase driving range and efficiency, the braking system recovers kinetic energy. The EV6 has six regenerative braking modes (none, 1 to 3, ‘i-PEDAL,’ or auto mode), with the ‘i-PEDAL’ driving mode allowing the car to harvest the most amount of energy from its brakes and allowing the driver to bring the vehicle to a gentle stop without having to use the brake pedal.

“The Indian automotive industry is shifting, and Kia is at the forefront of this revolution,” Tae-Jin Park, Managing Director, and CEO of Kia India, stated. We’ve demonstrated it time and time again with our world-class products and services that meet not only the unmet but also the unfelt requirements of Indians. The debut of EV6 in the country serves as a reminder of this. The EV6 is a fantastic blend of bold design, forward-thinking engineering, cutting-edge technologies, and thrilling electric performance. We are confident that our customers will appreciate the highest-quality Kia offering we are bringing to market.”
