Before falling, Krishnakumar Kunnath, a popular Bollywood musician known as KK, complained of feeling cold and uncomfortable.
Star After a concert on Tuesday, Bollywood singer Krishnakumar Kunnath, often known as KK, died of a suspected heart attack at the age of 53, eliciting a torrent of tributes from fans, including Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

Modi wrote on Twitter, “His music expressed a wide spectrum of emotions and struck a touch with people of all ages.”

“Through his songs, we shall always remember him.” “Our heartfelt condolences go out to his family and supporters.”
According to the Times of India and other local media, Kunnath became ill while performing at a concert in Kolkata. He reportedly complained of being quite cold after the show and wanted to return to his hotel.
He was brought from his hotel to a hospital in south Kolkata after fainting at about 10:30 p.m. local time, when doctors pronounced him dead, according to the newspaper.

Kunnath’s wife and kid were traveling to Kolkata, according to Indian minister Aroop Biswas, who went to the hospital after hearing the news. “I’m here to assist the family in any way I can,” he stated.

The multilingual singer, who was born in Delhi in 1968, has recorded songs in Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, Malayalam, Marathi, and Bengali, among other languages.

Kenneth began his career in commercials and made his big-screen breakthrough in the 1990s. His songs were dubbed over films as a playback vocalist, with the actors lip-syncing along.

Tadap Tadap Ke, Dus Bahane, Tune Maari Entriyaan, Dola Re Dola from the 2002 film Devdas, and Khuda Jaane from the 2008 romantic comedy Bachna Ae Haseeno were among his biggest hits.

He also participated as a judge and mentor on reality singing shows and recorded two studio albums, Pal in 1999 and Humsafar in 2008.

Thousands of followers paid their tributes on Kunnath’s Instagram page, where a photo of him singing in front of a raucous crowd had been shared earlier in the day with the caption: “Pulsating gig tonight at Nazrul Mancha… “I adore you all.”

He leaves behind a wife, a son, and a daughter.
