In a video shared by the BCCI, Indian skipper Virat Kohli was seen enjoying India’s practice session in South Africa ahead of the start of the first Test match against the Proteas. Captain Virat Kohli is seen in the video playing kick-volleyball with other players and coach Rahul Dravid.

The visuals indicate that the Indian squad is untouched by the controversy surrounding Virat Kohli’s white-ball captaincy outside of the field.

After watching this film, recent claims of a fracture among the Indian squad appear to be unfounded.
From Mumbai to Johannesburg, Team India had a great time.

Soham Desai, India’s strength and conditioning coach, explained that the Indian team walked onto the field for a practise session after days of rigorous quarantine, so he chose a low-risk training session with just stretching and running to make the players comfortable.

The players also enjoyed a game of kick-volleyball or Footvolley.

The three-match Test series between the two teams will begin on December 26 at Centurion. South Africa vs India 2nd Test match of the three-match Test series will be played from January 3 to January 7, 2022, in Johannesburg and the third and final Test between the two teams will be played at Newlands Stadium in Cape Town from January 11 to January 15, 2022. India vs South Africa Test series is part of the ICC World Test Championship.
