In a groundbreaking move, Rashtriya Raksha University (RRU) and Haryana Police Academy (HPA) have come together to boost training and research efforts. The collaboration, sealed with the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) on November 24, 2023, signifies a shared commitment to advancing education, affiliation, and related activities.

At the signing ceremony, Dr. Shishir Kumar Gupta, Registrar of RRU, and Dr. C.S. Rao, IPS, Additional Director General of Police/Director of HPA, officially inked the MoU. Esteemed dignitaries from Haryana Police Academy, including Inspector General Dr. Rajshri Singh, IPS, and Shri. Sanjay Kumar, IPS, Inspector General of Police, Administration, was present alongside officials from RRU.

The partnership aims to pool the expertise and resources of both institutions to elevate the quality of education and training for law enforcement professionals. Joint research initiatives will tackle contemporary challenges in policing and security, contributing to the strengthening of India’s internal security infrastructure.

Prof Bimal N Patel, Vice Chancellor of Rashtriya Raksha University, sees this collaboration as a pivotal moment for law enforcement training and research in India. He emphasized the commitment of both institutions to shaping the future of policing through shared knowledge and resources.

Dr. Shishir Kumar Gupta expressed excitement about the collaboration, highlighting its significance in fostering excellence in law enforcement education and training. He stressed the importance of such partnerships in shaping the future of policing in India.
