Mahesh Bhatt Calls Saiyaara This Generation’s Aashiqui
Newz Daddy Entertainment Updates
Mahesh Bhatt, one of India’s most renowned filmmakers, is pleased that people are comparing Mohit Suri’s Saiyaara to his popular romance film Aashiqui in terms of nostalgia!
Because Mahesh Bhatt’s Aashiqui told a novel, profound, and avant-garde love narrative, it became a national sensation and instantly made Rahul Roy and Anu Aggarwal superstars. Even Aashiqui’s music was a huge hit! Likewise, Saiyaara serves as the springboard for Ahaan Panday and Aneet Padda to become the next YRF heroine and hero. The Saiyaara title tune is a huge smash, and the band’s tracks are also chart-topping!
“Every generation has a love story that defines it,” Mahesh explains. In my opinion, Saiyaara will stand as this generation’s most iconic romance movie. I created Aashiqui with a lot of purity, and I was lucky that people found it very relatable, turning the two up-and-coming artists into instant celebrities. I anticipate that Mohit Suri will treat Saiyaara similarly.
He continues, “It’s incredible to see that people experience Aashiqui nostalgia when they see Saiyaara, but I can assure you that Saiyaara will redefine what a romance movie ought to be for the modern day and its audience. Every new generation has to outperform its predecessor in every way, and I’m thrilled for Saiyaara to follow suit. My prodigy is Mohit, and I would be overjoyed if he were to outperform me in every manner.
With Saiyaara, Mahesh Bhatt believes Mohit Suri, who was influenced by him as a director, has fully emerged on his own.
“I’m proud to see Mohit break out of his mould for Saiyaara,” he says. It is a welcome departure from everything he has produced in his career, and the movie manages to capture the depth of romance that Mohit possesses. I’m happy he shared everything for everyone to see and accept. People need intensity to connect with the emotion of love, and Saiyaara excites me greatly.
The seasoned director claims that he was always encouraging Mohit to work with up-and-coming filmmakers and that he is happy that Mohit collaborated with YRF on Saiyaara. “With two incredibly talented actors who are just dazzling on screen, I’m thrilled to see him leap with Saiyaara,” he says. I’m also thrilled that he has a studio with such a rich cinematic history, like YRF, supporting and assisting him on this project.
He continues, “Saiyaara is looking new, like a breath of fresh air that only newcomers can have.” I can feel Saiyaara’s energy, and I’m hoping this movie will be a huge hit. I am very excited for the nation to witness it on July 18th!
After a very long time, Saiyaara has emerged as the most popular debut movie in the Hindi cinema business. For the first time, Yash Raj Films and Mohit Suri, both renowned for crafting classic love tales, collaborate on the highly anticipated romance drama Saiyaara!
With songs like “Saiyaara Title Track” by Faheem-Arslan, “Barbaad” by Jubin Nautiyal, “Tum Ho Toh” by Vishal Mishra, “Humsafar” by Sachet-Parampara, and “Dhun” by Arijit Singh and Mithoon creating waves on the Indian music charts, Saiyaara has also produced the finest album of the year
