“Mantra essentially is in love with sound and to actualize his love for sound, knowing him for many years, I’ve seen him actually cut out all the noise around him to reach a level where he can make a listener believe in the power of sound the way he does both arts of storytelling which is emotional and on a technical level.
So as an actor having worked in the visual space, I needed a certain different kind of direction to sort of bring my character Rocket, across. So because Mantra is a man who’s not in love with the sound of his own voice, he did give me that space. But yeah he really put me on a path and showed me things that I might not have been able to figure out otherwise.”
