The Amazing Five: Family, Harmony, Environment, Duty, Swadeshi (Panch Parivartan)
Shri Mohanji Bhagwat, the head of the RSS (Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh), met with Acharya Mahashramanji today at the Preksha Vishwa Bharati Dhyan Kendra in Gandhinagar.

- “If we see that ‘I am in everyone, and everyone is in me,’ then violence in society will stop.”
- “We work for the country, and we have completed 100 years. This was our duty, so there is no need for any big celebration.”
Shri Mohanji Bhagwat, the head of the RSS, met with Acharya Mahashramanji today at the Preksha Vishwa Bharati Dhyan Kendra in Koba, Gandhinagar.
Speaking at the event, he said he comes here every year to “recharge his battery.”
He explained that good character for a person and good character for a nation is based on good values (morality). And good values need a spiritual base, because without it, they have no meaning. That is why he goes to places where he can get the “charge” needed for the work they do.
He mentioned that even in the normal life of India, inspiration comes from spiritual teachings. Referring to Acharya Mahashramanji’s teaching of non-violence, Mohanji said that social violence will stop only if we see that “I am in everyone, and everyone is in me.”
The RSS is completing 100 years now. The workers thought they should go to all of society with a message of good feelings and values. Because of this, they are not having big programs for the 100th year. Working for the country for 100 years was their duty, and there is no need for a celebration.
Instead, they have planned a program called Panch Parivartan (Five Changes). This program has five parts:
- Educating the Family (Family Awareness)
- Social Equality (Harmony in Society)
- Saving the Environment
- Citizen’s Duty
- Life based on our own culture/nation (Swadeshi)
He said that the volunteers have already started following these things in their own lives. During the 100th year, the volunteers will go to society and share these ideas. They will try to get more people to join them in moving in this direction.
