Namotsav at Sanskardham Draws Leaders, Learners and Hope
Namotsav at Sanskardham blends education, culture and national values
Ahmedabad witnessed a rare blend of culture, education and public life as Shri Acharya Devvrat, Hon’ble Governor of Gujarat, attended Namotsav at Sanskardham on December 29, 2025. The event drew wide attention not only for its scale but also for its deeper message rooted in values, service and national pride. Accompanying the Governor were Union Ministers Shri Kinjarapu Ram Mohan Naidu and Shri Gajendra Singh Shekhawat, along with senior leaders from the Gujarat government and the Bharatiya Janata Party. Their presence highlighted the importance that the leadership places on value-based education and cultural expression.
Namotsav, presented as a musical and multimedia experience, narrated the life journey of Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi. Such storytelling formats have gained popularity across India as they help younger audiences connect with leadership stories through art, music and visuals rather than textbooks alone. The show reflected key phases of Shri Modi’s life, including discipline, service and dedication, which are often cited as guiding values in his public journey.
Alongside the performance, the Governor visited a curated exhibition where Sanskardham’s institutions showcased their work and philosophy. Educational exhibitions like these offer visitors a closer look at how schools and universities translate values into daily practice. They also allow parents and students to engage directly with educators, which helps build trust and awareness.
The scale of participation stood out. More than 10,000 people attended, including students, parents, teachers, senior educationists, civil servants and industry leaders. Such a large turnout reflects the growing public interest in platforms that combine education with culture and national identity. The presence of IAS officers and senior administrators also underlined the link between ethical education and public service.
Day two of Namotsav saw participation from state-level leaders of the RSS, industry executives from Sanand and Ahmedabad, and well-known education experts. Sanand, known as a major industrial hub, has become a symbol of Gujarat’s growth story. The attendance of industry leaders suggested a shared belief that education, skills and values must move together for long-term development.
Spiritual leaders also attended the event, including Mahamandaleshwar 1008 from Gita Mandir. Their presence added a reflective tone, reminding audiences that education and leadership are not only about achievement but also about inner values and discipline. Across India, such spiritual participation often bridges the gap between tradition and modern education.
Namotsav went beyond celebration and became an expression of service and purpose. Led by renowned Gujarati artist Sairam Dave, the performances used humour, emotion and music to engage audiences of all ages. Cultural figures like Dave have played a key role in making social messages accessible and relatable, especially for younger generations.
Sanskardham itself is built on the philosophy of Sanskar, service and love for the nation. The institution draws inspiration from Lakshmanrao Inamdar ji, also known as Vakil Saheb, who believed that values reside within every individual. His ideas continue to influence educational thought in Gujarat, where character building is seen as equally important as academic success.
The educational institutions under Sanskardham reflect this philosophy in practice. Laxman Gyanpith School and Global Mission International School follow the National Education Policy 2020, which focuses on holistic learning, ethics and real-world skills. These schools aim to shape children who are not only knowledgeable but also socially responsible and emotionally aware.
This vision extends into higher education through Anant National University, which focuses on solving global challenges through design, innovation and sustainability. Universities with such goals are increasingly important as students are expected to think beyond local issues and contribute to global solutions.
Other institutions under the Sanskardham umbrella include Anant School of Excellence, Sanskardham Sports Academy, Sanskardham Drone Academy and Vijayi Bharat Foundation. Each addresses a different aspect of learning, from sports and physical fitness to emerging technologies and social work. Together, they reflect a broad approach to education.
NAMTECH, highlighted at the event, represents India’s push towards advanced manufacturing and Industry 4.0. As the country works towards goals like Viksit Bharat 2047 and Atmanirbhar Bharat, institutions like NAMTECH aim to create skilled professionals who combine technical ability with ethical thinking and social responsibility.
Overall, Namotsav at Sanskardham served as a poignant reminder that education, culture, and leadership are deeply interconnected. The event demonstrated how stories, values, and learning spaces can come together to inspire individuals and communities, especially at a time when the nation looks towards a future shaped by responsibility, innovation, and shared purpose.
