At India’s largest yoga day event in Vizag, Nick and Sonic set the example for young India by joining Prime Minister Narendra Modi and the Ministry of AYUSH. Nick’s Chikoo and Bunty and Sonic’s Bittu performed yoga alongside Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Union Ministers, Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu, Deputy Chief Minister K. Pawan Kalyan, and Civil Aviation Minister K Ram Mohan Naidu, in front of a huge crowd of 3,00,000 people. India, 21 June 2025: Nick and Sonic, two of India’s top children’s entertainment channels, joined Prime Minister Narendra Modi and the Ministry of AYUSH in Vizag for one of the biggest Yoga Day festivities in the nation, marking a significant celebration of wellness and mindful living.
Nick’s Chikoo, Bunty, and Sonic’s newest member, Bittu, joined the channels’ flagship initiative #YogaSeHiHoga, which focuses on promoting good habits and making wellness more accessible for children. This helped to inspire the next generation to take up yoga. The goal of this group celebration is to reaffirm the network’s dedication to yoga’s ageless practice and its continued relevance for people of all ages in the modern world.
The mass yoga session near R.K. Beach, Kalikamatha Temple, Vizag, was attended by Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Union Ministers, Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu, Deputy Chief Minister K. Pawan Kalyan, Civil Aviation Minister K Ram Mohan Naidu, and more than 3 lakh yoga enthusiasts. “Yoga is the pause button that humanity needs to breathe, balance, and become whole again,” our Prime Minister said in a touching speech to the attendees about the holistic advantages of yoga. Nick’s Chikoo, Bunt, and Sonic’s Bittu joined children and families on the ground to perform yoga poses and inspire them to make the practice an enjoyable and necessary part of their everyday routine.
Through campaigns like #YogaSeHiHoga, Nick and Sonic have been vocal supporters of children’s wellness over the years. The company has consistently promoted the value of yoga, from the famous Motu and Patlu doing yoga with the Prime Minister in Ranchi in 2019 to organizing one of Mumbai’s largest yoga events, “Yoga by the Bay,” and effectively running online yoga sessions throughout the pandemic.
